Raheel-Nawaz Regime Stabs the Muslims of Occupied Kashmir in the Back
Since July 2016, after the martyrdom of the young liberation fighter Burhan Wani, Indian Occupied Kashmir has seen one of the worst atrocities by the brutal Indian regime in the form of curfew, killings of dozens with hundreds injured. Women, children and elderly have been beaten, pellet guns have severely wounded many, including blinding, food shortages have deepened hardships and the banning of internet and social media have left protestors without a voice to approach the world. All of this is taking place whilst Pakistan’s rulers repeated empty slogans, watching when action is required. After an election win in Azad Kashmir, Nawaz Sharif said on 22 July 2016 that “All our prayers are with them and we are waiting for the day Kashmir becomes Pakistan.” Not that these old empty statements were not used previously. Such rhetoric by Pakistan’s rulers are generally given either to gain political mileage on a burning issue or to deceive the public which is furious over Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. Any sane person would understand that with Pakistan having a mighty army and considerable geo-strategic capabilities, talks about waiting and praying are only to diffuse public anger over this issue. Pakistan’s political and military leadership through its nation-wide crack-down against the groups and individuals who have been supporting the mujahideen in Kashmir has effectively abandoned the Muslims of Kashmir in their struggle for annexation with Pakistan.
Rhetoric to hide its inaction, is just one of the crimes of the rulers. The Raheel-Nawaz regime has adopted a non-interference policy in Kashmir and also aims not to get into any conflict with India. On 3 August 2016, whilst addressing the concluding session of a three-day envoys’ conference, which was attended by Pakistan’s ambassadors from nine world capitals and multilateral institutions, the Prime Minister declared, “We cannot afford any conflict. If we indulge in any conflict, it would stop the pace of economic and social development… Pakistan believes in the policy of noninterference, mutual interests and respect of sovereignty of other countries.” This re-iterates the fact that the Raheel-Nawaz regime does not aim to go into any conflict with India which could hamper the US-initiated Pakistan-Indian normalization plan in the long run. The Kashmir will never be liberated from the brutal Indian occupation with mere statements of condemnation, peace talks or passing resolutions at the UN. Instead Kashmir must be liberated by mobilizing the Pakistan Army. Islam obliges the mobilization of our armed forces to assist the helpless Muslims who are being killed by the Kufr forces for Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,
وَمَا لَكُمْ لاَ تُقَـتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَآءِ وَالْوِلْدَنِ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْ هَـذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ الظَّـلِمِ أَهْلُهَا وَاجْعَلْ لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنْكَ وَلِيّاً وَاجْعَلْ لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنْكَ نَصِيراً
“And what is (the matter) with you that you do not fight in the way of Allah, and (for) the one who are weak among the men and the women and the children who say, ‘Our Lord take us out of this town whose people are oppressors and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and a helper.”
(An-Nisa 4:75)
The Raheel-Nawaz regime knows very well that the solution for Kashmir lies in Islam, which obliges the mobilization of the Muslim army. By not doing so it is fuelling the unrest amongst the Muslims of Pakistan and anger towards it. However, the shameless regime intends to ban the discussion over Islam in the matter of Kashmir, to pour water over the Islamic sentiments of the Muslims in both occupied Kashmir and Pakistan that have kept the struggle for Kashmir alive for nearly seven decades. As if this were not enough, it also wants the Kashmir issue to be seen as India`s internal matter! On 31 July 2016, the Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said, “Slogans of Islam and Kashmir were frequently used for politics and in the past [even] to oust governments… It’s the first and foremost duty of the media to disallow their use [again]….” He also said, “If we condemn foreign hand in the terror acts being committed here, terming it an intervention in our internal affairs, then we should also not provide India with any excuse to accuse us of meddling in its internal matters [in Kashmir].” And referring to the Kashmir issue he said “…but we should keep our emotions in control while supporting their right.” So to expect anything from these US puppets will be a self-deception.
It is only Khilafah which will implement Islam and mobilize its Muslim army for the liberation of Kashmir from the illicit Indian occupation. The will of Kashmiri Muslims to annex with the Muslims of Pakistan will not be fulfilled until the establishment of Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood.
Change of Face in Sindh Government Will Not End Neglect of the Muslims
In a widely expected move, the Pakistan People’s Party formally nominated senior Sindh minister Syed Murad Ali Shah as chief minister after outgoing provincial chief executive Syed Qaim Ali Shah handed his resignation on 26 July 2016. Syed Murad Ali Shah was within days formerly sworn in as the twenty-fourth chief minister of Sindh. The leftist Pakistan People`s Party (PPP) with its Bhutto dynasty politics aspires to enforce secularism in a Muslim majority and Islam loving country. Whether ruling in the federation or province, the PPP leadership has consistently served the US on both the domestic and foreign fronts, ranging from economic issues to the war on “terror,” which is a cover for a war on our Islamic values. The province of Sindh has been ruled by PPP governments throughout the last decade. In coordination with the federal government, they have been at the forefront in enforcing secularism, a war on Islam, suppressing the ever growing demand of Islam in Pakistan via implementation of measures such as the NAP (National Action Plan) and POPA (Protection of Pakistan Act).
During this prolonged PPP rule in the Sindh provincial government, the people in urban cities have witnessed themselves being deprived of their rights, stricken by water shortages, broken roads, mountains of uncollected garbage, long hours of power outages, sewerage drainage problems, widespread malnutrition and lack of education and health facilities. The rural areas are hit even worst as if they don’t even exist. These issues are in addition to rampant insecurity, with target killings and murders of hundreds of people, street crime and incitement of ethnic conflicts. Adding to the misery is the unprecedented level of corruption and plundering of public wealth which is a hallmark of the PPP rule.
In the province of Sindh, considering the Muslims’ anger against the neglectful system and ruling, a change in faces was expected to diffuse this ever-growing resentment and so in the run-up to the scheduled election in year 2018, the Chief Minister of Sindh has been changed. The subsequent glittery and cosmetic actions undertaken by the new chief minister, Murad Ali Shah, are only to deceive the public and prolong the life of the corrupt democratic system under their leadership. This change of chief minister is nothing more than a face change, whilst the overall policies, laws, priorities and objectives will remain unchanged. Murad Ali Shah in his first speech on the floor of the House after being elected as CM said, “The priorities are the same, best law and order, good education and best health services”.
Islam has already warned us of such rulers to come who will abandon Islam, neglect and deceive the Muslims masses. RasulAllah ﷺ said,«إِنَّهَا سَتَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ سِنُونَ خَدَّاعَةٌ يُصَدَّقُ فِيهَا الْكَاذِبُ وَيُكَذَّبُ فِيهَا الصَّادِقُ وَيُؤْتَمَنُ فِيهَا الْخَائِنُ وَيُخَوَّنُ فِيهَا الْأَمِينُ وَيَنْطِقُ فِيهَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ» قِيلَ وَمَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ قَالَ «السَّفِيهُ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِي أَمْرِ الْعَامَّةِ» “There will come upon people years of deceit in which the liar will be believed, the truthful disbelieved, the treacherous will be trusted and the trustworthy held to be treacherous, and the despicable (Ruwaibidah) will speak out.” It was said: ‘Who are the despicable ones?’ He (saw) said: “The lowly, ignoble man.” And Bukhari narrated that RasulAllah ﷺ said: «مَا مِنْ وَالٍ يَلِي رَعِيَّةً مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَيَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لَهُمْ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ» “There is no governor/wali who takes charge of Muslims and dies cheating them, except that Allah prohibits him paradise.”
This pitiful situation will only ever come to end with the implementation of Islam through the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood because in Islam the laws are derived from the Quran and Sunnah and so they cannot be manipulated by the whims and desires of men, as they are in Democracy. In Islam the Khalifah is obliged to take care for the affairs of the Ummah best as per Shariah whilst not doing so will make him sinful and accountable.
The Raheel-Nawaz Regime Extends its Treachery Against the Oppressed Muslims of China
“The inaugural high-level meeting on Quadrilateral Cooperation and Coordination Mechanism in counterterrorism by Afghanistan-China-Pakistan-Tajikistan armed forces/militaries was held in Urumqi, Xingjian Uygur autonomous region, China, on 3rd August 2016,” ISPR said in a statement. The announcement about a new four-nation, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan mechanism, known as the Quadrilateral Cooperation and Coordination Mechanism (QCCM) in counterterrorism, came as top commanders, Qadam Shah Shahim, CGS Afghan National Army; General Fang Fenghui, Chief of Joint Staff Department of Central Military Commission; General Raheel Sharif, COAS Pakistan Army; and Major General E. A. Cobidrzoda, First Deputy Defence Minister and CGS Tajikistan armed forces, from the participating countries gathered in the Chinese city of Urumqi for the inaugural leadership meeting. QCCM was a Chinese initiative but Pakistan’s COAS Gen. Raheel Sharif actively participated during the past few months for its establishment.
With the backdrop of the growing demand for the resumption of Islamic way of life by Muslims, the major world powers in general, and Washington and London in particular, have introduced and exploited terms such as “War on Terror”, “Anti-Terrorism”, “Counterterrorism”, “Fundamentalism” and “Extremism” to suppress the rise of Islam. They have used such aforementioned terms around the globe as a justification for invading Muslim lands, plundering their resources, massacring Muslims, suppressing Islamic uprisings, enforcing secularism and creating fear amongst Muslims adhering to Islam. China is amongst those major powers which has exploited the counter-terrorism narrative to oppress the Muslims of East Turkistan, after forcibly occupying it in 1949 and naming it Xinjiang province. China in its belligerency against Islam has gone to an extent that it restricted civil servants, students and children in what China calls Xinjiang from fasting Ramadhan, as government websites announced on 6 June 2016, and it also ordered restaurants to stay open. China regularly persecutes the Muslims using similar styles. Pakistan’s military and political leadership are well aware of these atrocities against the Muslims of East Turkistan, yet they have not issued even a single word against Chinese belligerency and instead the rulers in recent years have focused on the “challenges” to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which is to open the riches of Muslim Lands to the oppressive Chinese. The silence of these rulers demonstrates their criminal negligence of the noble Muslims of China.
Now, the Raheel-Nawaz leadership has extended its betrayal by not only ignoring the suppression undertaken against the Muslims in occupied East Turkistan, but it has now executed a plan whereby it will support and coordinate in such measures with China under the guise of “counterterrorism.” The meeting was even held in the East Turkistan which again illustrates that as far as China is concerned the target will be Muslims living in that area. This will certainly be a boost for the brutal Chinese regime in further usurping the rights of Muslims of East Turkistan and strengthening their illegal occupation of it. Furthermore, the intended aim of the formation of this forum is not limited to East Turkistan. It will also be used to legitimize the use of force in suppressing the call of Islam in the member countries (i.e. Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan). Since China had initiated the meeting, there were speculations in the media that the US might not welcome this alliance. In addition, a few of the regime’s mouthpieces shamelessly defended the COAS’s new move by citing it as an example of drawing closer to China to escape the US orbit. However, this is merely a deception in an attempt to confuse the aware masses of Pakistan. The Pakistani leadership has been staunchly loyal to the US and this latest move was also met with approval from the US. As reported by Dawn Newspaper on 6 Aug 2016, Mr Mark Toner, Deputy Spokesperson for the US State Department, welcomed the formation of the counterterrorism alliance of China, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan to devise a joint strategy. Mr. Toner said “…we certainly don’t view any effort to more closely coordinate among those countries — all of whom are affected by terrorism in the region — as a negative at all. In fact, we view it as a positive.” The US has already initiated such vicious plans through its agents in the Muslim World under the notion of counterterrorism to curb the growing Islamic call and the practical realization of its objective. Anyone who has a heart, hearing and sight can comprehend that the Muslims have lost the caretaker who looks after their affairs. Without our shield, the Islamic Lands are considered as a place only for the spilling of the pure blood of the elderly, women and children, a place for distress calls from the bereaved, for division and dismemberment and for control by enemies and allies alike. They have lost the Imam who protects them and behind whom they fight, as RasulAllah ﷺ said, «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ» “The Imam is a shield, behind him you fight and by him you are protected.” (Muslim)
It is upon the sincere officers of the Pakistan Army to head the call of the oppressed Muslims of East Turkistan, who look upon them to liberate them. So will they not answer the call to help? Will they not give Nussrah to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood whereby it may liberate East Turkistan and defend the Muslim honor? Indeed the leadership of the Raheel-Nawaz regime is an unwanted burden upon the Islam loving armed forces. So the brave and sincere of the armed forces must overturn humiliation and restore dignity and victory to the Ummah. They must seize the neck of the stonehearted rulers and grant Nussrah for the restoration of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood, the shield of the Muslims. Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,
يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ
“O you who believe! Give your response to Allah and His Apostle, when they call you to that which will give you life.”
(Surah an-Anfal 9:24)
NAP Failed Because It Does Not Address the Head of the Snake, the US
Civilian and military leaderships on 10 August 2016 opened deliberations on injecting fresh momentum into what is being seen as a faltering National Action Plan (NAP) on counterterrorism. The discussions held at the premier’s residence are being led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, with his key security and foreign policy aides – Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif, National Security Adviser retired Lt Gen Nasser Janjua, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, ISI Director General Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar, Foreign Secretary Aziz Chaudhry – and other senior officials participating. This week’s deadly attacks in Quetta added urgency to the meeting which was being planned for weeks and for which several preparatory sessions, two of which were chaired by Prime Minister Sharif, were held.
As the Muslims count their dead, heartbroken and distraught, the regime announced in tired and worn statements that it will end “terrorism” as well as hinting at Indian intelligence, RAW. However, the regime is failing to end these evil designs, restore peace and secure stability, because it itself has allowed a vast American presence within the region, which is the head of the snake and opened the door to Afghanistan for its regional favourite, India, allowing the Hindu Mushrikeen an unprecedented opportunity to stir up instability in both the tribal regions and Baluchistan. Indeed, those who are informed of matters know well that American intelligence has long infiltrated the loose tribal networks and they incite the ignorant amongst them to turn their weapons away from the crusaders who occupy Afghanistan, onto their own Muslim brethren. In addition, the American puppet government in Afghanistan has vastly expanded the Indian presence on our doorstep, with the blessing of the US. Barbaric acts such as bombing hospitals and schools are the direct outcome of American foreign policy, specifically the policies of low intensity conflict and covert, “black” operations. These operations are an established American ploy, practiced by its intelligence and private military all over the world, to burn countries in the fires of confusion.
Our suffering and immense losses, in terms of lives and property, are a direct consequence of the regime making alliance with our enemies or seeking to normalize relations with them, showing affection to them, extending them sanctuary and provisions within our region, providing them an upper hand over us by which to strike us.
Allah سبحانه وتعالى said,
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ تُلْقُونَ إِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوا بِمَا جَاءَكُمْ مِنْ الْحَقِّ
“O you who believe! Choose not My enemies who are your enemies as friends showing them affection even when they disbelieve in that truth that has come to you.”
(Surah Mumtahina 60:1)
And He said سبحانه وتعالى,
إِن يَثْقَفُوكُمْ يَكُونُواْ لَكُمْ أَعْدَآءً وَيَبْسُطُواْ إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالسُّوءِ وَوَدُّواْ لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ
“Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.”
(Surah Mumtahina 60:2)
It is upon the sincere in the people of power to cut the head of the snake and purify Pakistan of all American presence. It is upon them to close the US embassy and consulates, which are fortresses in all but name, expel the enemies that roam the country to contact and spend dollars as they please, the US diplomats including its ambassador as well as the US private military and intelligence operatives. And know that these matters will only be practically realized once they extend the Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the return of the Khilafah to these lands of Pakistan, the Pure, the Good.
