Ending Corruption Requires an Islamic Political Party Working for the Islamic State

The deputy commissioner of Chakwal has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA), Sardar Zulifqar Ali Khan, of “political interference in the administrative matters” and has sought action against the lawmaker. In a letter addressed to the chief election commissioner, the registrar of the Supreme Court and the chief secretary Punjab, DC Ghulam Saghir Shahid stated on 3 September that the MNA from NA 64 (Chakwal I) sent a list of Patwaris (land revenue officers) asking for their transfer and posting according to his will.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government has only been in power for a fortnight, yet already a number of incidents have occurred which have embarrassed the PTI government and contradicted its claims of bringing good governance. In the first fortnight, three incidents have happened where lawmakers from PTI have slapped people publicly, their chief minister of Punjab openly ordered a District Police Officer (DPO) to apologise to the ex-husband of Imran Khan’s current wife because the DPO stopped his car at a check post. And now a deputy commissioner wrote a letter to his high ups that an MNA from Chakwal ordered him to transfer Patwaris according to his demand, which is clear political interference in administrative work of the government.

PTI came in power on the slogan of ending corruption and to end political interference in government departments. However, their members are behaving the same as previous “corrupt” regimes. When the PTI was taking “electables” into their ranks without consideration of their character, even PTI supporters were concerned that by doing so  they won’t be able to bring any change. However, the PTI leadership responded that if their leader is so honest that corrupt elements in their ranks won’t cause problems. Yet, within a fortnight this assertion has fallen flat on its face.

This argument is clearly against the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who first built his party by inducting men who left their previous beliefs, embraced the new ideology fully and went through intensive exposure to the Islamic culture, so that their personalities were reformed to become Islamic personalities based solely on Islamic Aqeeda. These blessed Companions (ra) of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ interacted with the corrupt society and faced oppression by the heads of that false system. Despite severe hardships, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his ﷺ Companions (ra) did not accept any offer from the followers of falsehood to compromise and enter the corrupt system. So after their long struggle when Allah swt granted them victory in al-Madinah al-Munawarra, they were able to establish a powerful, principled Islamic State, which continued to secure the Deen for over thirteen hundred years. No leader claim to be more honest than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ but even he ﷺ first built a party with personalities who can take the burden of implementing Islam. So any attempt to get to power without having the right men, no matter how honest the leader is, is bound to fail.

The Muslims of Pakistan must take heed from their current experience and abandon all parties that participate in Democracy. Democracy is the root cause of corruption and is not the ruling system in Islam. We can only make Pakistan a state like Madina by working with Hizb ut Tahrir to re-establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood.

Islam Forbids Police State Tactic of Abduction

The Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has sent applications seeking recovery of missing persons to the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances reported Dawn on 3 September 2018. The CJP heard the applications, which were moved by relatives of the missing persons in his chamber at the Supreme Court’s Karachi registry on 2 September. Holding placards inscribed with their demands, men and women had earlier gathered outside the SC building to seek recovery of their relatives allegedly picked up by law enforcement agencies. Countless such applications have been sent with many remaining missing for years.

The problem of Enforced Disappearances is worsening day by day and now even women and the elderly are no exception. The people of Pakistan are facing this problem since the start of America’s War against Islam in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Upon American pressure, the rulers of Pakistan prevents people from supporting their Muslim brothers in Afghanistan specifically, as well as from raising the call for Islam as a way of life. The Muslims of Pakistan see the American occupation of Afghanistan as unjust. They feel compelled to help their Muslim brothers in Afghanistan and consider it’s their Islamic duty to raise their voices for the implementation of Islam in Pakistan.

However, America is stuck in the draining, burdensome, longest war of its history and is desperate to achieve its permanent presence in Afghanistan, through war leading to talks to end the war. To force talks, the American agents in Pakistan’s leadership have mobilized against the people through operations in Karachi, Punjab and Tribal regions, using illegal abduction as a tool to break the defiance of the people. These illegal abductions have been carried against those supporting Jihad in Afghanistan or calling for the implementation of Islam. The rulers are so blindly obedient to America they have not even granted exception to the elderly, sick or women.

Not only is abduction un-Islamic, it is weakening the state of Pakistan from within. It directs the anger of people towards the security agencies that it sees as responsible for these abductions. It is an abhorrent practice, a hallmark of some of the world’s most despotic regimes. It is a tactic employed by repressive governments that demand total compliance. This method of converting authority from being the trust of the people to one built upon force gives rise to the police state. Islam has forbidden the police state as it’s against the basic duty of providing security to citizens, entrusted to the state itself.

In Islam, the Khaleefah receives the obedience of masses in return for the implementation of Islam upon them. Abduction and forceful suppression of Islamic expression is a clear violation of the rights ensured by Islam. As for those who are involved in this shameful act, Allah (swt) said, إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ “Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.” The Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood will be established soon inshaaAllah, as an answer to the Duaa of the oppressed. It will avenge the Ummah from those who stopped people from His (swt) path whether they are from the Muslims or the Kuffar.

Under the Bajwa-Imran regime, Relations with US have now warmed up which Heralds More Danger for Pakistan

On 5 September 2018 Pakistan’s military and political regime held a meeting with US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen Joseph Dunford at the PM House in Islamabad. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and ISI chief Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar were also present in the PM’s meeting with the US delegation. Regarding the meeting, Qureshi said, “During the meeting at the PM House we all sat down and exchanged views… Ice has been thawed… Today we felt that we have created an atmosphere to reset our relations, and the lack of trust that was present has been broken which is a very positive development.”

How can anyone in their right mind want to warm up relations with the US? The US works Pakistan mercilessly like a slave and then beats and berates it as thanks. It is because the US has worked with Pakistan to eradicate “terrorism” that Pakistan got into the mess it is in now. The US worked with Musharraf to enable it to occupy Afghanistan in the first place, which created turmoil in the entire region. Without Musharraf’s work the US would never have been able to invade the region in the first place. The US then worked with Musharraf to expand its intelligence presence in Pakistan to address the tribal resistance to its occupation and directly supervise the pro-Islam elements in Pakistan’s own intelligence. This was to prevent the US occupation facing the same fate as that of Soviet Russia and Imperial Britain previously. Concurrently it worked with Musharraf to declare the Jihad in Occupied Kashmir against the Hindu forces as “terrorism,” bolstering India in its efforts to oppress Muslims.

The US then worked with Kayani to expand its private military presence which launched false flag operations to prod our armed forces into action against the tribal resistance. Bloodshed, mayhem and chaos were the result, as exemplified by the Raymond Davis case. The US then worked with Kayani and then Raheel to further put pressure on the tribal resistance, crossing the red lines of Waziristan and then North Waziristan. Without the work of Kayani and Raheel, the US would have had to have beaten a hasty retreat long ago. As for now, the US is working with Bajwa to force the tribal resistance into negotiations with the US so that it can stay. And it is working with Bajwa to simultaneously exercise “restraint” before increasing Hindu State hostility in Occupied (Maqbooza) Kashmir and across the Line of Control into Liberated (Azaad) Kashmir, so that Pakistan becomes subordinate to an Indian led anti-China bloc.

Clearly, the time to end working for the US has arrived. O you who believe! Choose not My enemies who are your enemies as allies showing them affection even when they disbelieve in that truth that has come to you.” [Surah Mumtahina 60:1] And He said (swt),إِن يَثْقَفُوكُمْ يَكُونُواْ لَكُمْ أَعْدَآءً وَيَبْسُطُواْ إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالسُّوءِ وَوَدُّواْ لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ  Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve.” [Surah Mumtahina 60:2]
