Our Rulers are Thieves! Is it not Time for the Sincere People of Strength and Power to Clean up Pakistan’s Filthy Political Medium, by Appointing a Khaleefah for the Muslims?!

Cabinet members of Pakistan’s new Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have taken their oaths in a ceremony, state television has reported. The new cabinet, made up of allied political parties, was sworn in on Tuesday (April 19) – more than a week after parliament elected Sharif to replace Imran Khan, who was removed in a no-confidence vote on April 11. Pakistan’s Dawn news website said 34 ministers were administered the oath by Senate chairman Sadiq Sanjrani during a brief ceremony at the white marble palace known as the Presidency in the capital, Islamabad. Sharif unseated Khan through a no-confidence vote in the National Assembly, Pakistan’s lower house of parliament. Khan had lost his grip on power after being deserted by his party allies and a key coalition partner earlier this month. Since then, Khan has demanded new elections at rallies, saying the new government was imposed under a conspiracy by the United States, a charge Washington has denied, and which the new government in Pakistan says is a “pack of lies”. Comment:
The awful state of the political medium in Pakistan calls for contemplation and understanding of the fate of this good country and its people. The rulers of this country and its system have crossed all the red lines that are acceptable to the sound mind, whether Muslim or secular, local or abroad. Who has just taken the oath?! Is he a just, honest and trustworthy man who understands the meaning of the oath and the obligations it entails. Or is he a corrupt thief who betrayed the trust and was condemned by the system itself, facing sentences of many years?!

Shebaz is from a family about which only corruption is known; the Sharif brothers of Punjab, the elder of whom is Nawaz Sharif, who handed over the Kargil Heights to India on a plate of gold, with the collusion of the notorious Pervez Musharraf. These Sharif brothers ruled the country for many years, neglecting the ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed and the affairs of the sincere people of Pakistan.

So, what is the benefit of an oath from a corrupt man whose corruption has been established by the ruling of the Supreme Court in the country, which is the apex judicial authority, whose ruling cannot be overturned?!

The greatest misfortune is who nominated, elected and appointed this thief over the country, from his party, opposition parties, judges and false witnesses who kept silent about this farce! Is it conceivable that such people are just people who represent the reality of the people? Or are they a group of thieves, like Shehbaz, who do not see anything wrong with his corruption, as corruption is a common custom among them and they are corrupt like him?! This current political medium and system, with its constitution, institutions, and political parties are totally corrupt. They are rightfully compared to Ali Baba and his forty thieves!

The secular system that exists in Pakistan is a secular system that does not rule by Islam. Islam is neither a reference for nor a measure of its actions. It is a system that is a tool for agency to secular America. These are facts that no one denies. Whoever is proven guilty of even a tenth of the crimes that were proven against Shehbaz in America, the master of Pakistan’s rulers, would be deprived of any government position or even from any job in the public or private sector, even if were working in a fast food restaurant. Yet, the American master does not see anything wrong with installing a thief over us, whilst the oppressive agents of America do not see anything wrong with that either.

We are one of the “banana republics” enslaved to Uncle Sam. The “transparency” that Uncle Sam mandates in his country is not mandated for us. The farce is now inevitable, as it has become evident that the country’s misfortune is not restricted to the person of the ruler, whether the cricket player or the industrialist or the crooked kingmaker. Not one of them will ever be able to achieve any real positive change in the country, but will engage in this corrupt system and corrupt the country, with the different forms and magnitudes of corruption.

The conditions for candidates for positions of government in Islam are completely different from those in Pakistan today. Just one example from the life of the Khulafa’a Rashidoon suffices us to summarize how the rulers of Muslims were and how they should be, characterized by real transparency.

Once Umar al-Farooq (ra), the second Khaleefah Rashid, was in the market and saw fat camels, distinguished from others. So he asked about their owner and they said to him: هي إبل عبد الله بن عمر“They are the camels of Abdullah bin ‘Umar…” Then Al-Faruq rose up and shouted: عبد الله بن عمر! بخ بخ يا ابن أمير المؤمنين“Abdullah bin Omar! What is this, O son of the Ameer ul-Mu’mineen?” Then ‘Umar asked him: ما هذه الإبل يا عبد الله؟ “What of these camels, Abdullah?” He said: إنها إبلٌ اشتريتها بمالي وبعثتها إلى المرعي أتاجر فيها وابتغى ما يبتغى المسلمون“They are camels that I bought with my money and sent them to the pasture to trade in, seeking what all Muslims seek.” ‘Umar scoffed at his words, saying: ويقول الناس حين يرونها ارعوا إبل ابن أمير المؤمنين… اسقوا إبل ابن أمير المؤمنين… وهكذا تسمن إبلك ويربو ربحك“People say when they see them, take care of the camels of the son of the Ameer ul-Mu’mineen … Water the camels of the son of the Ameer ul-Mu’mineen … This is how your camels are fattened and your profit increased.” Then he shouted a command at him: يا عبد الله! Take your capital that you paid in these camels and put the profit in the Muslims’ treasury.”

All of this was done by ‘Umar al-Farooq (ra) with his pious son of the pure, who invested his halal money in halal trade like other citizens. Despite that, Umar al-Faruq (ra) insisted for his piety to close all the doors in the face of shayateen, as well as sealing all outlets for corruption, protecting himself, his family, his aides and followers.

Thus, the two visions in front of every sincere person in the country are clarified. There is the current vision of Democracy and its pillars and the corruption that penetrates to its core. Then there is the vision of Islam and its Khilafah (Caliphate) system of governance, with true justice, fairness and absolute transparency. After all this, is it not time for the sincere sons of the Ummah in the Pakistan’s armed forces, and with them every sincere influential of the country, to rise against this system and its pillars, uprooting it and replacing it with the system of the Khilafah on the Method of Prophethood, so that the inhabitants of the earth and the inhabitants of heaven will be pleased with us?!

“O believers! Respond to Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw) when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah stands between a person and their heart, and that to Him you will all be gathered.” [TMQ Surah al-Anfaal 8:24]
