Only Khilafah Rashida Can Return Safety and Security to the Children of Syria

Five years of conflict in Syria has left much of the country in ruins and robbed millions of children of their childhood. Since the conflict began, 3.7 million Syrian children have been born, 2.9 million children inside Syria and at least 811,000 in neighbouring countries. The UNICEF report titled, “No Place for Children: Impact of 5 Years of War on Syria’s Children and their Childhood”, highlights that almost 7 million children live in poverty inside of Syria today and that a whole generation is at risk as there is no end to the conflict in sight. Violence has become common place, reaching family homes, playgrounds, schools, parks, and places of worship,” said UNICEF.

Syria is now the most deadly and complex conflict of our time; its impact is affecting millions and is being felt across continents. Today, more than ever, it is a children’s crisis. (Source: businessinsider)

Comment:

This year on March 15th marked the 5th anniversary of the Syrian conflict and throughout these years international organisations like UNICEF have annually reported how devastating the Syrian conflict continues to be upon the most vulnerable members of society, the children. The youngest Syrian generation totalling 3.7 million aged 5 years and younger has been born into the deadliest conflict of our time. Consequently, the innocence of childhood for Muslim children in Syria has been replaced with death, destruction, displacement and fear. Undoubtedly the Muslim children of Syria have become this war’s main victims. They have witnessed and experienced unspeakable horrors that no child should ever have to witness. Consequently, a ‘lost generation’ of Syrian children who now total 8 million, have been abandoned by so-called leaders in the Muslim world and international community at large, left to live out the rest of their childhood if not their lives in these wretched conditions. Boys like 13 year old Mohammad living in Turkey as a refugee speaks about his future when asked saying, “I don’t how I see the future. I am kind of in between hopeful and hopeless. Maybe in time I will be able to answer this question. I just wish there was such a power on earth that could bring back the things I have lost”.  The stability and security that millions of children in Syria dream of is only achievable through the unity of the Khilafah Rashidah (caliphate). It is only this political solution that can and will replace 5 years of unimaginable misery and suffering for the children of Syria. It is furthermore a political system that is consistent with the Syrian people’s beliefs and values that are rooted in their history. The Islamic system will offer hope of a real solution to a region that has been plagued since the Islamic system was removed from political life decades ago. Only then will the noble Muslims of Syria both young and old who have been exposed to the most unimaginable and severe trials and struggles resulting from their brave determination to stand firm against the barbaric Assad regime and its allies will come to an end, bi’ithnillah.

“Allah has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the auth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islam). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear”.

Very tragic. Unfortunately we cannot blame anybody but ourselves. A price Muslims are paying for being dependent on the west kufr. Muslim leaders are not learning at all. These leaders are keeping their citizens illiterate and subservient in order they can hold on to power by the help of the west
