Obituary of a Daw’ah Carrier in Afghanistan: Abdul Ghiyas

إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

“To Allah we belong and to him we return”

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Afghanistan, with full belief in Allah’s determination (qadaa), offers its condolences to the family of our late brother, Abdul Ghiyas and yearns Sabr-e-Jamil (bearable patience) as well as Ajr-e-Jazil (countless rewards) for his family – our sincere thoughts and prayers are with them. Our beloved brother Abdul Ghiyas was forty-three years old, eight years of which he spent in struggling for the revival of the Islamic lifestyle along with Hizb ut Tahrir. He rested his soul to his Lord in a traffic accident last Thursday – Sept 13th 2018. We ask Allah to bestow him with his Maghfirah and Jannat ul Ferdaws.

Brother Abdul Ghiyas was an active Dawah carrier, who bore many challenges on this path, and struggled for the re-establishment of the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood with a firm belief and an unwavering commitment.

Being one of the greatest assets of Hizb ut Tahrir in Afghanistan, his absence is very much felt already. We pray to Allah to accept all of his good deeds, forgive his faults and place him in the highest ranks of Jannah.

“And give glad tidings to As-Sabirin (the patient). Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: “Truly, to Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.”” [al-Baqara: 155-156]
