مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance], and they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration.”

[Al-Ahzaab: 23]

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkey extend its deepest condolences to the Muslims, in general, the bereaved family and the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in particular, for the death of brother Jamal ad-Din Bashkaban, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir.

Jamal ad-Din (may Allah have mercy on him) was a distinguished personality which set an example of obedience, patience and morality. The deceased has already lost his wife who worked with him to apply the rule of Islam on earth, and she, Allah’s mercy be on her, had spared no effort to do so; it was several years ago and today we are saying farewell to him to the mercy of Allah.

In front of this affliction, we can only say what pleases our Lord, and ask Him Almighty to forgive him with His mercy which encompasses everything, to gather him in His wide paradise with the Prophets, Sidiqeen, Martyrs, and the Righteous and those are the best companions, and to bestow on His family patience, solace, satisfaction and steadfastness.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”

[Al-Baqarah: 156]
