Obituary of a Da’wah Carrier in Jordan: Khaleel Musa Abu Ghazaleh

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration”

(Al-Ahzaab: 23)

In submission to the command of Allah (swt) and to His Qadaa, Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Jordan mourns to the Muslims in general and to the members of Hizb ut Tahrir specifically, one of its faithful patient members, the senior brother:

Khaleel Musa Abu Ghazaleh (Abu Bilal)

He passed away on Sunday during Fajr time, 8/10/2017, at the age of 88 years old, which he spent in the obedience of Allah (swt), working with Hizb ut Tahrir to resume the Islamic way of life through the implementation of the Khilafah Rashidah (righteous Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. He faced in this cause the brutality of the Jordanian regime and its security services torture, arrest, imprisonment, exile, expulsion from his job, and attacks on his livelihood, but this vile hatred and injustice did not dissuade him from continuing to carry the Da’wah, and work for the re-establishment of the Khilafah – the crown of all obligations -, he faced all this while believing in His Lord, Allah (swt), and his certainty in Allah’s victory, while being patient, firm and keeping his trust in Allah (swt), his state being that which Allah (swt) described:

قُلْ إِنَّ صَلاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

“Say: “Behold, my prayer, and (all] my acts of worship, and my living and my dying are for God [alone], the Sustainer of all the worlds”

(Al-An’aam: 162)

We ask Allah, the Most Merciful, to show wide mercy towards our Brother Abu Bilal, to make his abode the blissful gardens of Jannah with the Prophets, the Truthful Ones, the Martyrs, the Righteous and the best of their company. We also ask Allah (swt) to bestow us and his family with patience and solace, and to increase their reward.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

“Verily to Allah do we belong and verily to Allah do we return.

(Al-Baqarah: 156)
