The abolition of the Islamic Khilafah system in Turkey on the twenty-eighth of Rajab 1342 AH is a landmark event in the history of the Ummah. It draws one’s attention to two eras, before and after the destruction: the first era before the destruction was an era of blessings marked by unity of the countries from end to end, without borders, and without barriers, where people enjoyed justice, mercy and good relations with their Khaleefah whom they gave bay’ah to, to look after their affairs by Islam internally, and carry Islam to the world through Dawah and Jihad.  Muslim and non-Muslim citizens of the State lived in security and happiness, if any one of them suffered injustice, it infuriated the ruler and translated into action by preparing the armies and attacking fortresses of the enemies, and punishing of the unjust before night befalls him! If people were exposed to a disaster or famine, the Khaleefah would write to his workers (‘Umal) to expedite delivery of supplies, so the goodness and assistance would arrive from near and far, as what happened in the year of Al-Ramadah during the time of the just Khaleefah, Omar Ibn al-Khattab may Allah be pleased with him.

Whereas the era following the destruction of the Khilafah is quite contrary to that. Muslim countries were occupied and divided, their rights violated, and their property looted, and their enemy classified them “divisively”: Arabs and non-Arabs, Muslims and Christians and other sects, and as majorities and minorities. And planted in them the desire for separation and fragmentation from the mother country, and it gave rise to separatists demanding the region’s breakup of his people or for the people of his race with the backing and blessings of the enemies of the Ummah, the kafir colonialists; with the fact that the separatist’s call is prohibited in Islam, Islam obliges the unity and nothing else. Barzani the president of what is now known as the Kurdistan region of Iraq, states in his speech in Virginia during his visit to America “that the Kurds are close to achieving their independence, and that the obstacles that stood in their way to achieve that goal are removed”, considering the establishment of a state for the Kurds as one of the natural rights for the inhabitants of the region. The Sunnah leaders rushed to follow his example and are demanding the same. Then the Kaffir colonizers kindled the fire of strife and enmity between Muslims, and wars and disasters became the main feature of their countries, and the enemy planes and weapons of destruction began to drop balls of fire on the innocent’s heads under various pretexts: pursing terrorism sometimes, and to protect the (legitimacy) at other times, in Syria of Ash-Sham, Iraq, Palestine, Libya, Somalia and Yemen… And the list goes on: the killing of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, and double that number of the wounded, not forgetting the millions of displaced from women, children and elderly, who ran for their lives shuddering of death, and dispersed in parts of the earth, while the puppet rulers do not flinch or stirred by their conscience for what is happening, and the situation is getting from worse to worst.

O Muslims have you not realized the mirage of what you are looking for from the alleged pride, and defiled dignity, and you believe the lies of your rulers, and theatrical plays of their elections, and their extended ruling terms for three or four decades, even one of them seemed paralyzed on his throne, clinging to the reins of powers as it their God-given right to power

قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ

“May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?”

(Al-Munafiqun: 4)

 You were brothers in the past, each concerned for his brother, so why are you accusing each other of Kufr and killing one another today? And you had lived in security and prosperity, but now the crises and tribulations is your daily bread, is this your destiny or what are you waiting for?

The Islamic obligation upon you is to seek to work hard and sincerely, to renounce those dwarfs (rulers), and the Kuffar and its projects whose corruption is exposed, and extend your hands to your brothers in Hizb ut Tahrir who are working to re-establish the second rightly guided Khilafah project on the method of Prophethood, to bring you out from the darkness of dirty capitalism, and rotten democracy to the light of the of the laws of Islam that delivers the good in this life and the Hereafter, and that is the great victory:

أَفَحُكْمَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ حُكْمًا لِقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ

“Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith].”

(Al-Ma’ida: 50)
