Night Arrests and Checkpoint Arrests Precede Hizb ut Tahrir’s Stance in Jenin in protest Against Political Arrests

Hizb ut Tahrir organized this Thursday after Asr prayers, a stance in front of the New Mosque in Jenin to protest against the arbitrary arrests and beatings during the arrest of members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Jenin. Br. Alaa Abu Saleh, a Member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Blessed Land of Palestine, said that the Preventive Security Services detained three members of the Hizb last night for their participation in the invitation to the picket, whereas it arrested two others on the checkpoints which it installed at the entrances to Jenin to prevent participants from reaching the venue of the picket…

Participants condemned the policy of silencing and the attacks on people and held banners and placards reading “No to arbitrary arrests”, “No to attacks on the Dawah carriers”, “No to the policy of silencing”, “Khilafah is coming”, and And to Allah belongs all honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers”.

A speech was delivered to the crowd stressing that members of Hizb ut Tahrir have carried up the concern of their Ummah, and they offer everything precious and valuable for the sake of its honor and sublimeness. And that they have not committed a crime or a felony, instead they carried the Dawah to Allah sincerely for His Deen; enjoining the good, forbidding the evil, and speaking the truth and fearing no blame in that but Allah.

The speech indicated that what the Preventive Security personnel have done of beating and assaulting the carriers of Islam, members of Hizb ut Tahrir, is a great sin in front of Allah, and a crime that they should be held accountable for it. And that concealing the crime by the Governor and keeping Br. Jawad Abdul Aziz suspended without showing to the prosecution and not to release him, despite the severe injury he suffered, is a crime; rather they are a group of crimes that he must be held accountable for them. And if the Authority will provide a cover to the Governor and escape from the worldly punishment, then he will not escape the punishment of the Compeller, the Subjugator over His servants the Day when the witnesses arise.

The participants chanted “In spite of the oppressors, pride is for this Deen”, “O tyrant, O tyrant, your day has neared”, “O oppressor, the enemy of Allah, Khilafah is the promise of Allah” and “Islam is coming”.

Alaa Abu Saleh added that the stance has taken place at the Mosque entrance without intervention of the heavy presence security forces at the venue.
