IA Islam.kz reported: “On 10 December during the visiting session of the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security and of the Socio-Cultural Development Committee of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of RK under the theme “The key issues of strengthening religious tolerance and interfaith harmony”, the issue of the wearing of the hijab in schools was discussed”.
According to Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Azilhanov: “Due to the fact that our state is secular and a statute of a school states that religious symbols are not used, so in 80% of schools, according to statutes, they do not wear the hijab. Yesterday there were proceedings against first-grader who wore the hijab. The full check was conducted. Due to the fact that we live in a secular state, we cannot allow it”.
Comment:
Against the background of the revival of Islam in the country, the tyrant’s regime enters the active phase of its struggle against Islam and Muslims. This is evident in many areas of Muslims’ lives in the country. A good example is the law forbidding women to follow the commands of their Creator, namely, to wear obligatory clothing covering women’s awrah according to the words of Allah Almighty:
وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَى جُيُوبِهِنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ
“And say that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty”
(24:31)
At a time when Muslim women of the country are adhering to their religion, studying and seeking the pleasure of their Creator, the tyrant’s regime persecutes them and tried to turn away from practicing Shariah laws. In its struggle, tyrannical government uses the police, school headmasters, corrupt imams and bad religious scholars.
Marat Toyzhan, a chief prosecutor of Aktau town, said: “At present, 17 students are registered. These students wore the hijab before the Ministry of Education issued an order for its ban in schools. Now there are no students who wear the hijab in schools, because they are forbidden…” There are numerous examples when the police force to remove the headscarves from the schoolgirls.
The power uses the legal system and stated that the requirements of schools’ administrations on compliance with the established dress code, excluding its religious nature, are legitimate: “In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Science of RK by the order Number 26 of 14 January 2016 introduced the common rules for school uniforms, according to which inside the public education institutions one must adhere to certain rules, in accordance with the law”.
In her turn, Vice-Minister of Justice of RK Zauresh Baymoldina said: “Nobody has the right on the grounds of their religious beliefs to refuse to perform the duties prescribed by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
This once again proves that the tyrant Nazarbayev’s regime will not allow Muslim women of Kazakhstan to practice quietly their religion. Muslim women of Kazakhstan, as well as the Muslim women of neighboring Muslim republics are the hostages of criminal regimes of the tyrants.
The only solution of this problem is to work on the revival of the righteous state Khilafah (Caliphate) in which every Muslim woman will practice quietly her religion, and she will be protected by the righteous ruler, who will rule with the Divine Revelation from the Creator of the worlds.
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُم فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient”.
