Muslim Youth are not Fundamentalists

(Part of the campaign: “Muslim Youth: Pioneers of Real Change” by the women’s section)

After the fall of its State and the absence of the implementation of the Laws of Allah, the Islamic Ummah faced a historic dangerous turning point. It fell into the abyss and was targeted by nations from all over the world, and all its strength points were hit. The Muslim youth had a fair share of the attack of civilization, waged by the major powers to eliminate Islam and its belief in the hearts of Muslims, as it eliminated it as a system that organized their lives.

The fall of the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) marked the advent of man made political systems, under the pretext of nationalism or patriotism or under the cover of secularism or liberalism in other time, with the promotion and consolidation among the Ummah’s youth with meanings contrary to the conventional reality. For example, secularism, they said it is derived from the knowledge so as to deceive and mislead, and they say, it builds a life and systems based on knowledge, which is the demand of everyone, while secularism in its true sense is the antithesis of the Deen, i.e. atheism, which is the basis of the concept of the system of separation of religion from life, i.e. cancellation of the role of religion at all levels.

The deceiving technique is one of the most dangerous colonial cultural invasion techniques that has swept the Muslim world, which is opposite of the truth. The colonial powers resorted to it, led by the United States to hide their real objectives, hiding behind attractive concepts and terminology that show compassion on the surface yet in its interior contains torment. The Muslim youth must be aware that these concepts are integral to the capitalist ideology, that is built upon pure material benefit such as: democracy, freedom of opinion and respect for the opinions of others, human rights and public freedoms, freedom of women, equality, social justice and other slogans that are meant to upset the pillars of the Muslim society, and the fragmentation of family ties, and the liberation of women from any restriction of religion or custom, and pushing young people to revolt against the rules of the Deen — all for the prevalence of adultery and immorality and perversion of both sexes, as is the case in Western societies, so that the Muslim society collapses from all its corners. This is what they want!

What makes matters worse is the promotion of the vague terms that do not have a clear and explicit definition, such as globalization, privatization, free economy, interfaith dialogue, extremism, moderation and terrorism, which its hidden purpose is to keep the war open on the Islamic countries, in order to pass the colonial projects that have no limits. This is why democratic secular states needed to be seen as keen and lamenting on the deteriorating conditions and situation of the Islamic region, to penetrate with its hatred and spread its poison in all the elements and capabilities of the Islamic Ummah, especially the youth after they realized the vital energy force in them by the presence of Islamic belief which is entrenched in them, so it described them as terrorists, extremists, and fundamentalists.

By giving a simplified and quick explanation to some of these terms and descriptions we will expose to you their great danger and negative effects on a large generation of the Ummah’s youth, the Ummah that started to see the light of its salvation and realized the importance of returning to the roots of the Islamic creed, for its liberation from the colonizer and its aides from the rulers, scholars and orientalists who are smitten by the corrupt culture. From these terms, we will shed light on the true meaning of fundamentalism and terrorism and their results from the domination of secular policies and their agents from local governments on the raising of Muslim youth in Muslim countries under the pretext of combating extremism and limit its spread.

The term ‘fundamentalism’ first appeared in Europe, which is the sign of the Church’s opposition to scientific and industrial progress at the time, for violating the Christian religion, driven by the capitalist ideology, which is based on the doctrine of separation of religion and life. Therefore each movement opposed to scientific, industrial, and technical progress which came as the result of the implementation of the capitalist ideology, will be described as fundamentalist. With the erosion of these movements with the Second World War, but in the minds of Europeans, it is settled that fundamentalism is the enemy of progress and science, which is mental retardation not fitting with the Renaissance, and it must be fought until all its effects in society and life are removed.

Hence, we can seen with the description, “fundamentalism,” the purpose behind it is the creation of a global public opinion against all who are described with it, because it represent a threat to the modern material civilization, but also a threat to humanity. By the laws and recommendations of the Western countries, every Muslim and every movement working to change the miserable life situation that Muslims are living, to live an Islamic life, or all who resist the aggressor and usurper of the land, such as the struggle of young people in occupied Palestine, as fundamentalism, and this justify taking action against them, no matter how harsh, to fight and combat extremism without considering the brutality and extremism of the aggressor.

As for terrorism, it emerges from the overall laws and legislation related to terrorism and the fight against extremism, that they are not accurate, and subject to political trends of the countries that drew up these laws and legislation. Under these recommendations, and these laws Western countries, led by America can hunt down anyone accused of terrorism anywhere, and have the right to arrest or kidnap him, and to punish him according to what it sees fit, such as imprisonment, confiscation of monies and the rebuke of residency or citizenship without giving the accused the right to defend himself. They can under international laws and resolutions concerning the law of terrorism and the fight against extremism, use military force and political influence on any country it defines as terrorist, and it considers the Muslim countries one of the most important areas in which the United States used the Terrorism Act in order to increase its influence there, and to keep them under control, as in Afghanistan and Iraq years ago and more recently in Syria in Ash-Sham. With some remarkable changes, as the participation of puppet governments in the Muslim countries in America’s war on (terrorism) is straightforward and open, especially after the formation of the Islamic military alliance of 39 countries led by Saudi Arabia, the promoter of American policy in the Muslim world, it announced the work assigned to it, namely the development of programs and mechanisms needed to support the (fight against terrorism), and to develop appropriate arrangements to coordinate with the States and international bodies for the sake of serving the international effort (to combat terrorism) and keeping international peace and security.

Terrorism, fundamentalism, and extremism are terms and definitions that do not match with the reality of young people committed to the rules of their Deen, because they are descriptions founded to fight the return of Islam to life once again. Thus all bearded men and each one who frequents the mosque became known as a terrorist and extremist as in most Islamic countries, wanted by local and international intelligence services, even Arab Muslim names has become an identity that Western people as if they are entitled to view them with racism and as a target, without questioning or accountability, especially after the spread of the concept of Islamophobia, as some countries have the right to prevent sharing these names as in the west of China (East Turkestan) as well as the introduction of the laws in the democratic countries where repeated allegations to guarantee individual freedoms, which are limited to the restrictions on Muslims to prevent the Niqab (veil), and the closure of mosques devoted to the prayers of Muslims in Western universities and halls, as what took place recently in three universities in Berlin. As well as the integration of Muslim youth and especially children by force and exploitation of their weaknesses and their needs during their forced migration from the colonial wars, while they have hands in them, as is happening in Britain and other European countries to monitor private schools and call the police and the threat of handing over the children to the anti-terrorism services. If they suspect their behaviour or even drawing and writing words, as what took place recently in Britain when a Muslim child was accused of terrorism when he drew a cucumber, and his teacher thought it was a sharp weapon.

Muslims in general and the Muslim youth in particular face numerous sufferings, especially in constant finger pointing and in every move they make, especially if it is in support of their Deen or supporting the oppressed of the members of the Ummah. The plentiful evidence, arguments, numbers, and statistics prove how keen the colonial regimes are in keeping the third world countries, especially the Islamic world behind, and the removal of Muslims youth from the true revival, and their persistence in misleading them, and deviating them from the right path, and placing them in the position of the accused, and diluting their Islamic work.

Here are the most prominent evidence of our dire reality, due to wars in the Muslim world, to follow this systematic policy against the Ummah’s youth

What is happening to the people of Syria, as a result of the war declared against them by the countries in the world to break their will and eliminate all dreams of freedom from the shackles of oppression. This is what sparked the revolution in Ash-Sham, the abode of Islam, as major countries led by America announced its intervention to save its agent the tyrant Bashar, using terrorism as its scarecrow, which they created as a pretext to bring the armies of major countries to participate in the achievement of its objectives. This resulted in the death and wounding of many, as the death toll of children reached nearly 17,000 children under six years old. The recent statistics show that most of the dead, which amounts to about 400,000 are from the age group ranging between 10 and 35 years old, and that, if anything, shows indifference of the belligerents to the loss of innocent lives by committing genocides, especially as the outlook of the Islamic Ummah as the Ummah of the young due to its increasing birth rate, unlike their aging societies and the lack of youthful elements in them.

Sparking wars in the Islamic world to combat extremism led to the loss of a large generation of Muslim youth that loves to defend its Deen and the honour of Muslim women of its Ummah wherever they are. The youth give no importance to the borders and the different nations that stand in the way of supporting the oppressed people and the vulnerable in the Islamic Ummah, their answer to the call of their Lord سبحانه وتعالى and their Messenger ﷺ of the necessity to defend Islam and oppressed Muslims is their only concern. This is what actually happened in the war in Syria today, as it brought in these internecine wars to the various Islamic countries the finest of our Muslim youth for the defense of the honour of the sisters in Ash-Sham, and the borders were opened in front of them and they were provided with the facilities. Therefore Ash-Sham become their graveyard, and to eliminate the concept of brotherhood between Muslims, which due to the media politicized policy dominated by the concept of extremism, terrorism and their characterizing them, their fate became either murder, detention, or deliberate physical assassinations.

In the face of all this, we find that the Kuffar are exerting all efforts to fight Muslims in general, and targeting Muslim youth especially, by all means and ways to distract them from their Deen after the distortion of its Shariah rules, and by replacing Islamic concepts with Western cultural and political concepts, and spend a great amount of money to repel them from the path of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and keep the ideas of Islam far from their minds. Thus the Muslim youth must not be fooled by what the hateful ones issue against Islam, and must not worry about these labels and definitions. They have been conjured up to fit the policies of the Ummah’s enemies and not to combat extremism, but to fight the return of Islam again, especially as they realized that the youth are the ones who are trying for the establishment of the righteous Khilafah state, which America and other countries of the Kuffar are aware that it is the only capable state of crushing the capitalist ideology, and their secular democratic systems.

All Muslims are fundamentalists and extremists in the eyes of their enemies, because they yearn longingly and with enthusiasm for the implementation of the rules of their Deen, under the righteous Khilafah state (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, to save them and save the entire world from the misery caused by capitalism, by the good of Islam.

“And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah untruth while he is being invited to Islam. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people* They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it’
