On the 27th April, the Muslim Women’s website ‘MuslimGirl” in coordination with other Media partners (MTV and TeenVogue) that agreed that annually, this day would mark International Muslim Women’s Day. The website, founded and run by Muslim women, encouraged people to recognize the significant social role Muslim women play on a local and international level. The day was marked with many Muslim women sharing their experiences of facing the challenges of Islamophobia and how they wished to present a non-stereotypical agenda that inspired other Muslim women to challenge the cultural and political boundaries around them.

Muslim women today face an unprecedented level of abuse, poverty and danger in every part of the globe. The suffering and insecurities faced by millions of young and older Muslim women are not a product of natural disaster but are entirely designed by international government who have a very specific imperialistic viewpoint in life that seeks to protect specific commercial interests and undermine all cultures and influences that may oppose it. When Muslim women realize that the mainstream media is a tool to influence blind society to corrupt work elite they will understand that the authorities in power will only give voice to Muslim women that serve their narrow agenda to secularize Muslims so that their energy for real change can be diffused and directed into causes that keep things exactly as they are. No amount of Hijabi fashion ideas, reformation of Islam, praise for women who compromise Islamic law to promote ‘positive’ images will elevate the status of Muslim women internationally. If Liberal Secular values really held the key to a Muslim women’s success then there would be no need for a Muslim women’s day as Muslim women would be treated fairly and have their rights like any other human. It is precisely the fact that the western political system views Islam as an ideological enemy, that keeps its greatest symbol (the Hijab wearing Muslim women) forever in the firing line of criminal legislation, negative slander campaigns and minority class programs. Muslim women should not celebrate a day that only affirms that they are not welcome in any nation if they wish to actually live by all of Islam as that would involve giving allegiance to the system of Allah (swt) over man-made laws. Muslim Women’s day is actually a celebration of the Wests dominance to over the lives of Muslim women who do not have the Khilafah to protect and legislate for them. With this understood Muslim women can only expect one thing every 27th of March that this false idol of democratic dogma is worshipped, the plight of Muslim women everywhere will deteriorate as real change in economic, social and education rights of women remain firmly in the hands of those that value Islam and Muslim women the least. It is only the Islamic political system, the Khilafah that can offer and tangible solutions to the oppression faced by our Ummah everywhere. Without the Khilafah we can expect that when our brother’s, fathers, sons, grandfathers, uncles and nephews are murdered/tortured and kidnapped by occupying forces in our lands Muslim women will not find any cure for their pain in social media outlets. When our Royhingya/ Palestinian/ Iraqi/ Afghani/ Kashmiri sisters are violated Muslim leaders will still be in power working with the enemy in our lands. When our Syrian sisters and children are treated like unwanted waste sinking at sea and stopped at invalid boarders the inhumane rules of nationalism and racism will still be in place. The true message of Muslim women’s day is that Muslim women should enjoy whatever their government allows in terms of selective rituals in Islam gives, but make sujjud to the secular laws that clash with western interests. Allah (swt) explain that no matter how much a Muslim may try to serve Islam through compromise the real wish of the enemies of Islam is that you join them in their way of life as a rebel to Allah (swt).
وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ * الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَمن يَكْفُرْ بِهِ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ * يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ * وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْماً لاَّ تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَلاَ تَنفَعُهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
“And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, “Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance.” If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper. Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. They [are the ones who] believe in it. And whoever disbelieves in it – it is they who are the losers. O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds. And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, and no compensation will be accepted from it, nor will any intercession benefit it, nor will they be aided.”
