Mass Protests in London Against India’s Aggression Against Kashmir

The Muslim community in Britain have been voicing their condemnation of the Indian occupation of Kashmir and their recent escalation and aggression. Several well attended protests have been organised outside the Indian High Commission in London, with the latest being organised by Hizb ut Tahrir / Britain on Saturday, 17th August.

Speakers condemned the occupation and aggression, but also highlighted the role that governments in Muslim countries, particularly Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE and Saud Arabia, have played in supporting the Indian regime while neglecting their duty to defend the oppressed people of Kashmir.

It was noted that India is attempting to change ground realities, so that the Muslim majority in Kashmir becomes a minority, and that America is supporting this move hoping to use India as an ally against Chinese expansion and against the soon to be established Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, insha’Allah.

The speakers and attendees expressed their dismay, that the armed forces of Pakistan have not yet been mobilised to challenge the latest Indian aggression, adding that Pakistan’s Bajwa-Imran regime appears to have sided with the oppressor while ignoring the cries of the oppressed.

The crowd and speakers warned the Indian regime not to become complacent, as the traitorous rulers of Muslim countries will not always be there to block retaliation from the Islamic Ummah that would stand with the oppressed and defend Kashmir. The Khilafah (Caliphate) will be a liberating force that will disregard the illegitimate treaties that recognise occupation and grant UN sovereignty over all disputes.

The demonstration called upon the Muslim armies to side with the Muslim Ummah who want to liberate Kashmir, cancel all such unjust agreements that currently hold them back, and to cut off the Gulf energy supplies that the Indian regime relies upon.
