As part of a global campaign under the leadership of the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, the Central Contact Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan has delivered a press release, condemning the Chinese persecution of the Uighur Muslims, to the Chinese diplomatic mission in Pakistan. The press release was issued by the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir (CMO) in Arabic, Chinese, Uighur and Urdu, amongst several other languages. The CMO press release is entitled, “Khilafah will Liberate East Turkistan And will Free the Uighurs from China’s Criminal Oppression.”
Let China re-consider its hostility against Islam and Muslims. Let China know that the Muslims of Pakistan are unlike their current rulers, who plead ignorance to avoid public reaction. In an interview with the Financial Times published on 26 March 2019, when asked about China’s incarceration of Muslims, Imran Khan said, “Frankly, I don’t know much about that.” And when asked about the Pakistani businessmen who made international headlines after travelling to Beijing to petition for the release of their wives caught up in the sweeping detention campaign, Imran shook his head, saying “I haven’t heard about that.”! In contrast, the Muslims of Pakistan are not only fully aware of the extent of the Chinese oppression of Uighur Muslims, due to their love of Allah (swt) and His Messenger ﷺ, they value their brothers and sisters more than any amount of yen or dollars. As the CMO press release pointedly stated, “Thus, a handful of dollars invested by China in Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and trade deals with China have silenced Muslim rulers who failed to act according to Allah’s command, which obliges the support of Uighur Muslims in East Turkestan.”
Let China also consider that the Ummah has awoken to Islam and its demand is to be ruled and unified by Islam. The Ummah will not forget the aggression of China once the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood has been re-established, which is soon, inshaaAllah. As the CMO press release stated, “We warn the rulers of China from the rage of the Islamic Ummah, which will answer the command of its Lord, and shatter the shackles of these rulers and will rise up to avenge those who wronged and oppressed it in East Turkistan, Myanmar, Kashmir, Palestine, and other Muslim lands.”
And let China weigh wisely the consequences of facing its misdeeds, a vast, nuclear armed Khilafah Rashida, with millions of willing troops at its disposal. As the CMO press release stated, “The Khilafah Rashida (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, which will come soon, by Allah’s permission, will bring the victory to our oppressed brothers in East Turkistan, and will hold accountable all who oppressed them and stood against them, the Prophet ﷺ said, «إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ» “The Imam is a shield, behind whom you fight and protect yourself.”
