Khilafah is the shield that will provide the Kashmiri people with their due rights

Washington: US President Donald Trump has said that there is a “very dangerous situation” prevailing between India and Pakistan, following the Jammu and Kashmir suicide bombing that killed 49 CRPF troopers, and indicated that Washington was trying to defuse the heightening tensions between the two neighbours. Comment:

It will be foolish to think that the USA will try to defuse the tensions between the two countries, knowing that one of the main reasons Pakistan abandoned the Kashmiri struggle is the USA’s war on “terror” after 9/11. What can be a lower point than having US president Donald Trump comment on the issue of ongoing brutality in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Former US president Bill Clinton once called it “the most dangerous place in the world”, ignoring the fact that any place with Muslim inhabitants has become dangerous for Muslims. Kashmir that was sold to Ghulab Singh by the Raj for 7.5 million Sikh rupees, a horse, 12 goats and six Cashmere shawls, is still being treated as a lifeless piece of land and the fate of the Kashmiri people remains in balance. For Pakistan, the issue of Kashmir is more than 70 years old and these 70 years have witnessed uncountable incidents of rape and killing of Kashmiri youth. Since 1989, nearly 100,000 people, mostly civilians, have disappeared or been killed; many of them buried in unmarked mass graves. Only in 2018, the number of people killed was more than 400 and half of them were labeled militants. The definition of a militant in Indian dictionary is the same as the definition of a “terrorist” in the West, and that is anyone not bowing down in obedience to the unjust lord of oppression. The ones who are taken in custody and put in the state’s notorious prisons return as different persons, not able to heal.

The recent suicide attack on the CRPF troopers may have been a result of the reaction mechanism of the local Kashmiri youth who are willing to give their lives to solve this long pending issue, but this is also a reaction to the Muslim leadership around the world and especially Pakistan who have sold their Kashmiri brothers at a much lower price than the British Raj sold the state. Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, in his recent visit to India, called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Known as the butcher of Gujerat) his elder brother. No wonder that the younger brother has outdone the elder in butchering Muslims.

Kashmiris are courageous and have refused to give up on their struggle but what they lack is the shield that will protect them and utilize their courage in the truest form.

A Muslim army under the state of a Khilafah will not delay to free the occupied Kashmir from this kafir oppression and will teach a lesson to the doer of the evil as well as the one who pretends to be a sympathizer. Kashmir issue is not just a dispute between India and Pakistan. In fact this is the issue of the whole Ummah like all the other wars where capitalism-affected Muslim areas. The only solution for this is political unity in the form of establishing an Islamic State on the method of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

«إِنَّمَا الإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ فَإِنْ أَمَرَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَدَلَ كَانَ لَهُ بِذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ وَإِنْ يَأْمُرْ بِغَيْرِهِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ»

“Only the Imam is a shield, behind whom you fight and you protect yourself with, so if he orders by taqwa and is just then he has reward for that, and if he orders by other than that then it is against himself” (Muslim)
