A most unfortunate reflection upon the citizens of Pakistan (both Muslims and non-Muslims), as the Government of Pakistan is allowed to continue another brutal war against its own citizens. Citizens of the globe need to remind themselves again and again: be they Indian, Pakistani, American, British, Canadian, Australian, Russian, Israeli, or Chinese; governments lie! The same applies to just about every government in power today, which all rule for the corporation and major financial oligarchies. With regards to a government waging a war against it own citizens, the trend is followed in Lebanon (after the Israeli bombardment in 2006) the army attacked its own citizens. Palestinian security forces since the so called ‘peace process’, carried out Israel’s bidding in repressing the Palestinian population. The regimes in the Gulf States repress there own citizens, discriminates against Shi’ah and workers (Muslims, Sikhs, and Hindus) from the Indian Subcontinent. The Sri Lankan military massacres its own citizens whilst claiming to fight the LTTE. Turkey uses military force to stamp out the identity of other ethnic groups such as Kurds, whilst Russia tries to remove any presence of Chechnya. Similarly Georgia attempted its own ‘ethnic cleansing’ until Russia intervened. MANIPULATION This tactic of using the media to control and manipulate populations for supporting some ‘legitimacy’ of military actions, to secure some agenda is very well established. Latin America (Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Columbia), and the Far East (Indonesia, Indo-China) were ‘testing grounds’ for such tactics long before these were repeated and applied in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Iraq some 40 to 50 years later. Much more attention should have been given to events in Europe, struggles in the Americas, and the wider world as these impacts upon and are replayed across the Central/South Asia and Arabia. Pakistan in this current form is another corporate state which serves a global oligarchy and established financial interests. Even the hegemonic nations (America, Russia, China, France, Britain, and Netherlands) are subject to corporate power. For Britain in particular this is over 200 years.
