The arrogant US strikes Somalia |

The US military has confirmed it has conducted a missile strike at the home of a senior leader of the Somali mujahideen. The strike hit the home of Aden Hashi Ayro, killing 10 other people, including women and children.
US Central Command declared, "It was an attack against a known al-Qaeda target and militia leader in Somalia". In light of the attack we say the following:
1. Somalia has been subject to foreign invasion in the form of Ethiopian troops with the backing of America. Ethiopia invaded after the strength of the Union of Islamic Courts became a unifying force in Somalia after decades of warlord fighting. When the sincere rule of the Courts Union became intolerable and it became clear that they would soon overrun the puppet government, America instructed Ethiopia to declare openly its opposition to the Union by open warfare. 2. Since the invasion, Ethiopian troops have ransacked the country, killing Muslims in Mosques, raping women and burning houses. The Courts Union has valiantly defended the Muslims in Somalia, showing their strength of iman. The US missile strike comes after the Courts Union, lightly armed, have taken on the invading army and their US backers.
3. The strike shows once again that the so-called international law is a farce. The US has attempted to link the Courts Union with Al-Qaeda, thereby legitimising their actions. They resort to law when it suits them and abandon law when it suits them. We should remember that the West is at war with Islam. Ethiopia invaded Somalia at the behest of America because America hates any form of Muslim unity.
4. The Muslim rulers have once again shown their impotence. O Muslims! Your brothers and sisters in Somalia are calling for your help and assistance. How can it be that you raise your hands in dua yet you do not work with haste to overthrow these kufr regimes who help the enemies of Allah! The Prophet (saw) said, ‘The imam is a shield, behind whom you fight and defend yourselves’ – so where is this shield today that will save your brothers? Where is the imam that will send America back to isolation?
