PRESS STATEMENT (PR08028)
Democracy, like the dictatorship, is unable to solve the economic woes of Pakistan
Only Islam’s economic system will resolve the plight of the poor masses
The current budget that is a product of the capitalist economic principles only protects the interests of colonialists and a few capitalists. This budget will even deprive the poor of his only meal of the day. This budget has once again proved the fact that no matter whether it is a dictatorial regime or democratic one, both these ruling systems implement the same exploitative capitalist economic system. The capitalist economic principles are structured in such a way that it makes the rich richer and the poor, poorer. That is why Pakistan's last sixty years of the musical chair of alternating between dictatorships and democracy, miserable plight of the masses never changed.

“O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against the Fire whose fuel is men and stones” [TMQ 66:6]
The Muslim Ummah toady is the target and the victim of diverse forms of aggression by the imperialist disbelievers and polytheists. Thousands of Muslims are being killed and made homeless from military aggression in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Kashmir etc. There is also the political aggression whereby the likes of Mahmoud Abbas, Pervez Musharraf, Hamid Karzai and Fakhruddin Ahmed have been imposed on the Ummah who surrender her interests to the Jews, Christians and the polytheists. Add to this the economic aggression of foreign financial institutions such as the IMF and the WB which have impoverished the Ummah. These are some of the forms of aggression which lead to the loss of our lives, wealth and strategic interests.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The heart bleeds with grief when considering the situation of the Muslims today. With regards to the wealth of the Muslims, each day brings new misery, whether in terms of rises in the prices of petrol, gas and wheat, or electricity shortages, or robberies and suicides driven by extreme poverty. With regards to the belief of the Muslims, Islam is constantly being undermined through the education syllabus and the media, such that parents are constantly fearful for their children. As for the lands of the Muslims, Afghanistan remains under occupation of the colonialists and the Hindu state is emboldened in its oppression of the Muslims of Kashmir.

O Muslims! And how many more Muslims will commit suicide through hunger and poverty before you rise for the re-establishment of the Khilafah?
Despite being part of an Ummah that Allah سبحانه وتعالى has blessed with abundant oil, gas, water and cultivatable lands, the Muslims of Pakistan are struggling to meet their basic needs. The people suffer increasing frustration because of poverty, so much so that it has driven people to kill their children, along with themselves, similar to what happened in the time before Islam (Jahiliyah) when people killed their children through fear of poverty and hunger.

Democracy's cat is out of the bag sooner than expected. The recent
statements coming from the Federal Ministers and the top leadership of
the ruling coalition has proven that expecting any fundamental change
from the new democratic dispensation amounts to living in fool's
paradise. Foreign minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi's claim that
Musharraf's foreign and Kashmir policy will continue and People's
Party's co-chairman, Asif Zardari's reiteration, in the presence of
Richard Boucher, that war against terrorism is not America's war rather
it is Pakistan's war, demonstrates that Pakistan will not only continue
to act as America's loyal servant but Pakistan will continue to be the
battle ground as well. Not only this, even the defense minister, in his
quest to please Musharraf, has termed him a 'National asset' whereas
statements from the government quarters showing willingness to work
with Musharraf had been circulating for quite sometime.

بِسْمِ الله الرَّحمَنِ الرَحيم
The new government is just a new face for slavery to the West O
Muslims! When will you escape the slavery through re-establishing the
Khilafah?
O Muslims of Pakistan! You have seen another change in the faces of
your rulers, as you have seen countless times before. And all those who
examine the events closely, will have realized that the newly elected
representatives will ensure continued slavery to the West, rather than
bring a real change to your declined situation.
