After the attack on the headquarters of the French newspaper Charlie Hebdo, and the killing of a dozen people, many media outlets announced its intention to reprint the controversial cartoons, including the offensive cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. In Germany anti-Islam sentiments reached the level which led one of the museums to display all satirical and offensive cartoons of the beloved Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, in support of freedom of speech! And Moscow Radio – Echo of Moscow- has responded to the call, through a direct vote on the question, “Do you agree with the reprinting of the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in response to the killing of the Charlie Hebdo newspaper family?”
The West has considered the attack on the French newspaper an attack on the capitalist ideology and its values, and considered Islam as its first and direct enemy, and they forgot who opened the door to mockery and satire against Islam and its creedal symbols. We saw the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, declare with the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, “We will not allow for terrorists to demolish or harm our democratic values and freedom of speech”. And Sarkozy, the former French president said, “The issue is not democracy or the Republic, but it is a question of civilization, all citizens regardless of their orientation must unite in the fight against the enemies of the civilized man”, as well as the statement of the Russian opposition Mikhail Khaddrckovski, “I say if journalists are people who respect themselves they must reprint the offensive cartoons of the Prophet.” By doing so, the West has asked Muslims to either agree to destroy their Deen and Prophet – which is the law of Democracy- or we declare war on you!
And we affirm that the attack on the best of the sons of Adam, the best of creation صلى الله عليه وسلم, is the attack and real barbarism, no matter what the justifications are. However, we do not consider that the killing of those journalists will solve the problem, and we stress that the sanctity of the Muslims must be respected, and will not accept anything less no matter the reason or excuse.
As regards to the weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo, they are the furthest away from civilization, or sense or political courage, the paper suffered from a severe financial crisis that nearly finished it, it does not sell more than thirty thousand copies, so it found the answer in the publication of the cartoons; it is much more lower than this.
We would like to recall the events of 2008, when Charlie Hebdo published a caricature of John the son of the French President Nicolas Sarkozy, which led to a media crisis, and after the journalist refused to apologize he faced the worst expulsion from the newspaper. However, when it comes to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, it is the right of the journalists! So where is the democracy and freedom of speech, which the West boasts about morning and night?! All of this is to force the Muslims to accept insulting their sanctities, and whoever objects is a terrorist and an extremist.
This is the true face of democracy and their double standards; subject to the interests of the West. So the killing of a few tens is terrorism and brutality, while the killing of hundreds of thousands of children, women and elderly Muslims in all corners of the earth is a question that needs to be viewed!!! This capitalist system has proved that it is devoid of any thing sacred, it is a rotten and worn-out system that is barbaric and an enemy of humanity.
