American Jewish group demands Erdogan returns award

هَا أَنْتُمْ أُولَاءِ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ وَإِذَا لَقُوكُمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا عَضُّوا عَلَيْكُمُ الْأَنَامِلَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ ۚ قُلْ مُوتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

"There you are, loving them when they do not love you, even though you have iman in all the Books. When they meet you, they say, 'We have iman.' But when they leave they bite their fingers out of rage against you. Say, 'Die in your rage.' Allah knows what your hearts contain."

Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan was given the Profile of Courage award in 2004 by the Jewish American Congress for his efforts in the Middle-East peace process.

The Jewish American Congress has demanded that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan return an award that was given to him in 2004 after accusing him of using "dangerous rhetoric" and "inciting violence against the Jewish people" in an open letter sent to Erdogan on Thursday.
