Syrian foreign minister, Walid Al-Moallem, clearly states the objective of Assad’s brutal tactics against the believers: “…those who demand the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah State, will not stop at the borders of Syria. So what we are currently doing is even defending Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.”

This is why the regimes in the surrounding Muslim countries have done nothing to help the Muslim fighters in Syria because they fear losing their thrones. These regimes forget that Allah سبحانه وتعالى is All-powerful, and when Allah سبحانه وتعالى gives victory to the believers these regimes will be consigned to the dustbin of history, humiliated in this life and the next.

قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

“Say, ‘O Allah! Master of the Kingdom! You give sovereignty to whoever You will You take sovereignty from whoever You will. You exalt whoever You will You abase whoever You will. All good is in Your hands. You have power over all things.”

(Al-Imran, 3:27)
