It would be interesting to see a debate about why the Khilafah must be considered as the only suitable alternative to Assad, and for the doubters, in the light of the 'failed' Arab spring, which has thus far not managed to remove any of the regimes, only their figure heads. Therefore a completely radical change is required, one which has a comprehensive alternative rather than a limited vision of removing just one man or one family. The call for the Khilafah state actually satisfies this criteria of replacing the current regime with a completely new system, one which would be held up by its nation, whether the minority groups within it believed in it's creed or not, as the history of Islam proved their fair and just treatment under the Khilafah system. This as well as the other questions around what this state would need to constitute and practically implement needs also to be addressed. Jzk |
