Why was he arrested? He was arrested by the Lebanese authorities after a warrant was put out for his arrest for supporting the people of Syria in the popular uprising sweeping the middle east against the tyranny of the western puppet Bashar Assad.
Imad Almanla is a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Lebanon. He was r imprisoned for 35 days and released after pressure and meeting with senior members in the Politburo of Hezbollah.
Hizb ut-Tahrir in Lebanon has held several very large demonstrations in support of the people in Syria. It is a political party that works to re-establish the Islamic state in the Muslim world.
