Modi- America’s favorite and its agents in Pakistan’s regime

Modi is the Gujarat Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader who incited the massacre of Muslims in the 2002 riots, exploiting the spilling of Muslim blood for winning elections against Congress. Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan issued a leaflet on 10 May 2002, in which it said, “Hindu state ministers took immediate and deliberate steps to convert the Ghodra incident into a war on Muslims. On 28 February, the day after Ghodhra, the state health minister personally sat in the Ahmedabad police control room and directed police not to save Muslims. Furthermore, eye witnesses report that state ministers personally led the Hindu mobs in their attacks on Muslims. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, issued statements to further instigate and justify the killing. On 1 March, at the height of the slaughter Modi asserted that, “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction (Har kriya ki pratigriya hoti hai).” And, on 2 March, whilst hacking and burning alive continued in several areas in Gujarat, Modi lied to buy more time for his Hindu accomplices by saying, “Gujarat is well on the road to peace and normalcy is slowly returning here.” (Gujarat mein bahut teji se shanti prasthapit ho rahi hai, normalcy aa rahi hai)””

However, having failed to woo the Congress Party firmly into its camp, the United States lifted its de facto boycott of Mr Modi in February 2014, despite his notorious status as an international pariah. One glaring sign of its failure is the lack of movement during the time of Congress on the issue of normalization between Pakistan and India, which is an essential part of the American plan to establish a regional bloc, with India at its head, to challenge America’s rival China, whilst simultaneously burying the rise of Muslims as a power. Whereas before Congress, Modi’s party, the BJP, sped things along in this direction, aided by America’s agent in Pakistan, General Pervez Musharraf. And now again, America depends on her agents in Pakistan for assistance in the success of her plan. Submissively, America’s new agents in Islamabad have already expressed willingness to shake the blood soaked hands of Modi. On 21 April 2014, it was reported that the regime received a few close associates of Modi, who met government officials and politicians from the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N. The Raheel-Nawaz regime’s foreign policy adviser, Mr Sartaj Aziz, told The Economic Times in Delhi in an interview published in India on Thursday 14 November 2013, “We will be ready to work with Narendra Modi if he is elected the prime minister of India.” Voices are raised against treacheries of the past rulers, including Musharraf, it is time to raise voices against the treachery that is being hoisted over our heads by the current rulers.

Modi cannot conceal the nature of the Hindu ruling elite

In an attempt to lure Muslim voters, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) front-runner Narendra Modi on Tuesday 22 April 2014 condemned virulent anti-Muslim remarks by a one-time close associate. Praveen Togadia, head of the right-wing Vishwa Hindu Parishad (World Hindu Council), faces a police investigation after a video appeared to show him urging Hindus to evict Muslims from their neighbourhoods in western Gujarat state. Speaking in Gujarat on Saturday 19 April, Togadia was heard saying: “We (Hindus) are in a majority – we should have the courage to intimidate (Muslims) by taking the law in our own hands.” Modi, a hardliner from the Hindu nationalist BJP, said he ‘disapproved’ of the statement from Togadia, an associate when both men were in grassroots Hindu political groups in the 1980s.

Modi’s election antics can never conceal the nature of the Hindu ruling elite. It is a historical fact that it was Muslim rule that liberated the Hindu masses of the Subcontinent from oppression at the hands of their own ruling elite. Only under Muslim rule was the Subcontinent elevated to such global economic and material significance, that the British Empire valued this region above all others as its “Jewel in the Crown.” Indeed, after Muslim rule, the Subcontinent suffered steep economic decline at the hands of the British, reducing it to economic misery, a condition that the Hindu leadership in India has been unable to reverse. Moreover, reports of terrible atrocities against Muslim, Sikh and Christian minorities, as carried by India’s own media, are more than enough to establish that the Hindu elite is incapable of bestowing justice upon any people, leaving aside its treatment of its co-religionist, lower caste Hindus.

Expecting justice from a nation whose own religious teachings openly sanction caste-based discrimination in society, depriving the majority of its own people their rights, is nothing but naivety. Muslims cannot sit idle as the rulers of Pakistan prepare to submit them to the mercy of the Hindu, under the banner of “normalization;” the self-same Hindu from whom the Muslim forefathers sought refuge through striving for Pakistan. Can Muslims ever seek benefit and mercy from the Hindu mushrikeen when Allah سبحانه وتعالى says,

“Neither those who followed earlier revelation who deny the truth, nor the Mushrikeen like to see good bestowed upon you from your Sustainer; but Allah bestows grace upon whom He chooses- for Allah is limitless in His great bounty.”

(Surah al-Baqara 2:105)

Moreover, the Islamic Ummah has only known peace and prosperity through strength and defiance in the face of the oppressor. Today, Muslims are not weak and have a combined strength of at least half a billion in the Indian Sub-Continent alone, comparable to the Hindu population of approximately 800 million. So, why should Pakistan surrender to the Hindu oppressors and accept the lowly status of a tiny Bhutan or a Nepal, when Muslims can attain the leadership of all of South Asia? It is upon Muslims to reject the rulers’ call for the restoration of slavery at the hands of the Hindu, under the banner of “normalization,” “dialogue” and “peace,” and work for the Khilafah to unify the Ummah’s strength against the enemy.

Nothing Positive Expected from Nawaz-BJP Normalization Part II

The Raheel-Nawaz regime announced on Wednesday 24 April 2014 that it was “encouraged” by comments from India’s election frontrunner Narendra Modi. Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit said he welcomed Mr Modi’s comments in a television interview that he would pursue the policies followed by former BJP premier Atal Bihari Vajpayee, “I was very much encouraged. They were very positive. It gives us hope that if he is elected as prime minister we should expect more positive things.” Previously, the BJP under Mr Vajpayee worked actively with Nawaz Sharif and then Musharraf to push forwards the American plan for the region. However, this push for “normalization” is hardly positive for it represents grave danger to our security and prosperity.

As for the reality of normalization, since the Clinton era, the regime’s master, America, has wanted to exploit Pakistan to win over India to its sphere of influence, with the promise of the permanent burial of the Kashmir issue, enhancing India’s presence in Afghanistan, strengthening India’s economy by gaining access to our huge market and the reduction of our military capabilities relative to India. As always for implementation, America depends on its agents within Pakistan’s leadership for presenting Pakistan as a bait to India.

In his previous term, Nawaz Sharif, as a loyal agent to America, worked hand in hand with the BJP government to propel the idea of normalization. Then Musharraf established America’s military and intelligence presence to unprecedented levels within our borders, as well as providing the means for establishing and maintaining the American occupation of Afghanistan. America then promptly opened the doors to the target of its aspirations, India, who now enjoys unprecedented influence within Afghanistan and the opportunity to create chaos within our borders. Moreover, India breathed a sigh of relief as Kashmir was abandoned and our armed forces are now ensnared in America’s war of Fitna, as underlined in the revision to the army’s military doctrine in the Green Book. And this is all asides from opening our entire economy to the well developed Indian manufacturing base, through repeated mentioning of Most Favoured Nation status.

Thus, America today acts through its loyal agents, the Mir Jaafirs and Mir Sadiqs of today, against the Muslims just as the British did before them. The colonialists of the past made sure that the Muslims would be subjugated at the hands of Hindus. And today the Americans seek to establish a bloc led by the Hindu, with Muslims in submission before them. America prepares the Hindus for war, whilst calling Muslims for peace and de-escalation. America provides weapons and training for the Hindus to fight Muslims, whilst urging Pakistan’s brave soldiers to fight America’s enemies. America calls Pakistan to stop all support to Kashmiri fighters, whilst supporting sham elections to strengthens India’s claims over Kashmir. America has even prepared the division of Kashmir so as to favour the Hindus, by the creation of autonomous and independent areas too weak to resist the Hindu dominance.

Dobbins- Viceroy of American Raj in Pakistan

Ambassador James F. Dobbins, United States Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, on Friday 25 March at Army General Headquarters. One day earlier, the US Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan met with Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

What business does any foreign ambassador have with our armed forces or the Interior Minister or our national security?! Is there anywhere else in the world, where the ambassador of a foreign country meets the local armed forces chief, much less those responsible for the host country’s domestic and foreign policy? Yet, it happens only in Pakistan, because the US considers Pakistan as its client state, to order and forbid its officials as it wishes. It is by such contact, that the US is aware of the most sensitive of our affairs and then gives directions for implementation.

This pitiful, degrading and dangerous state of affairs will never occur in the Khilafah. The Khaleefah will treat hostile non-Muslim states on a war stance. These are nations which have occupied Muslim Land or other acts of similar aggression. The Khilafah will focus the resources of the Ummah upon liberating occupied Islamic Lands, such as Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine. It will also diminish the threat from the hostile states by ending the presence of all their bases, embassies and personnel within Muslim Lands. It will sever all political and military contact with hostile states, who use such contact to order and forbid their agents within the military and political leadership and fish for new ones. As in the past, the Khilafah will not compromise on this matter, even if it would take decades to achieve, such as the liberation of Masjid Al-Aqsa from the crusaders.

As Hizb ut-Tahrir has adopted in its Introduction to the Constitution, in Article 189, “States with whom we do not have treaties, and the actual imperialist states, such as Britain, America and France, and those states that have designs on the State, such as Russia, are legally considered to be belligerent states. All precautions must be taken towards them and it would be wrong to establish diplomatic relations with them.” And in the same Article’s Clause 4 it states, “States that are actually belligerent states, such as Israel for example, a state of war must be taken as the basis for all dealings with them. They must be dealt with as if a real war existed between us – irrespective of whether an armistice exists between us or not – and all their subjects are prevented from entering the State.”

Democracy deprives the country of its wealth, then chases the poor for taxes

Like previous democratic governments, the Raheel-Nawaz government has promoted the culture of tax exemptions and issued over 80 orders to reportedly benefit influential people in the first nine months (July to March) of the current financial year. Several meetings chaired by finance minister have been held to review the study and identify concessions and exemptions which could be rationalised, simplified and minimised in or removed from the budget for 2014-15. Dawn reported on 28 April 2014, “An official source said that influential lobbies were not ready to pay taxes and insisted on availing the exemptions.”

Not only does democracy allow influential lobbies to make tax laws in their favour, it allows them to acquire the assets of the country through privatization. Having secured the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few, then Democracy chases the poor for taxes.

This abysmal state of affairs is a complete contrast to the Khilafah. In the coming Khilafah, huge revenues will be generated inshaaAllah through public ownership of oil, gas and electricity resources as well as well as a dominant stake of the state in ownership of the manufacture of heavy machinery & munitions and provision of telecommunications & transport. This combined with ending taxation on inputs to industry and agriculture, that choke production, and replacing it with Shariah mandated revenue generation from the profits and accrued merchandise of industry, as well as from the production from the land, will ensure that, unlike the current regime, the Khilafah will not need to rely on heavy taxation on income and consumption, such as GST, as a dominant means to generate revenue. Even when the Khilafah does tax, it is with stringent conditions that are based upon accumulated wealth, so it does not penalize poor and under privileged who are unable to secure their basic needs.

So rather than taxing the common man to near death, the state will look after his affairs through large revenues generated by state owned and publicly owned enterprises, as well Islam’s unique revenue laws, which increase distribution of the wealth, rather than its concentration. Hizb ut-Tahrir states in its Introduction to the Constitution, in Article 151, “Money taken at the borders of the State from custom duties, income derived from public or State property, inheritance for which there is no inheritor and the assets of the apostates are all considered to be part of the revenue of the Bayt al-Mal.”

Regime is drowning Pakistan in usurious debt

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved $400 million loan on interest and an agreement in this regard was signed by Secretary Economic Affairs Division Nargis Sethi and ADB’s Country Director for Pakistan Werner E. Liepach here on Monday. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and ADB’s Governor witnessed the signing ceremony. The current regime is drowning Pakistan in debt, already it has taken over $6bn in external loans so far this fiscal year, including $2bn through Eurobonds and $1.6bn out of a $6.7bn IMF loan. Interest payments upon this new external debt is sure to push the cost of debt servicing, which is already has the lion’s share of the budget, over one third of it. Total public sector external debts, at around $52bn in 2013, have now reached close to $55bn, and may be hovering around $57bn by end-June. Public sector external debt servicing consumed $4.5bn in 2013 and $3bn in the first half of this fiscal year. For the entire FY14, spending under this head may exceed $6bn. Moreover, in the coming years, high interest payments on the recently launched Eurobonds will worsen the situation. Out of the $2bn worth of bonds floated, $1bn of them carry an annualised return of 7.25pc and the remaining $1bn, 8.25pc.

Pakistan, like many resource rich countries, is caught in a trap by international loan sharks. Again, like many countries, the principle of the loans has been paid off many times over, but debt remains and grows because of interest payments. As just one example, total debt outstanding in 1990-2Hizb was $15,451 billion, even though the same period the total amount repaid was $36,111 billion. The situation continues to worsen with every decade. This oppressive usury, forbidden in Islam, is money that is taken away from the economy, looking after the affairs and securing the basic needs of the people. Moreover, these loans come with imposed conditions that deprive the public of the benefit of the Shari’ah stipulated public properties, such as coal and gas, through privatization to hand them over to the rulers, their entourage and foreign parties.

InshaaAllah the soon to arise Khilafah will lead rejection of the debt to the Western colonialist institutions, whose loans have been repaid many times over due to the oppressive interest. It will present a model to the world, focusing expenditure on the Shar’i needs of the Muslims and looking after their affairs, including building strong industrial basis, for strength and prosperity.
