Arabic is the official language of the Islamic State, as the Prophet (saaw) used it in government affairs and the Khulafah followed suit. The Muslims should not heed to the rumors from the West and their sympathizers amongst the Muslims who claim that calling for the study of Arabic and adopting it as the official language of the state means calling for Arab nationalism or an "Arab Islam". All Muslims, Arab and non Arab should leave aside national affiliations and patriotic affinity and identify themselves with Islam. Let us not forget that the West attacks the Arabic language and its study as a part of its campaign against Islam. That's why they do not direct their attacks against Turkish, Somali, Urdu, Bengali, Pushto, Malay, Chinese, or Farsi even though millions of Muslims speak those languages. All Muslims are called upon to defend Arabic in the manner they defend Islam.

A more detailed explanation is here: http://islamicsystem.blogspot.com/2006/11/importance-of-arabic-language.html - Abdul-Kareem

Although I completely agree that the Islamic system is truly perfect for all things and will even change the corrupt education systems of today, I still don't believe in "Arabic nationalism" Neither Allah Most High nor the teachings of His servant, our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, commanded for Arabic to be compulsory amongst all people except that it is required for one to do his 5 daily prayers in Arabic. Allah SWT has created man into all sorts of nations, tribes, and people with various languages. Hence Urdu curriculum in schools should not be a problem since that is the language of the people of Pakistan. Establishing a Khilafah is for the political, economic, and spiritual unity of the Muslims, not for the sake of Arab nationalism but for Allah and His Messenger. Much of our knowledge in science is standardized in English and it would take a whole new level to change all the terms and concepts into Arabic creating massive confusion amongst those who already know it in that way. Khilafah does not mean imposing Arabic language on the people but a guidance to the right way of Islam. - abdul

When i think of scholars like ibn Kathir, Ibn Qayyum, Ibn Sina, and the like of this great minds it sinks my heart deeply to realise that in this generation of ours, it has become very hard if not impossible to reach such a rank as they have. The young generation of now a days are so occupied with the daily bread and success that the true meaning of knowledge has seized to exists. People no longer learn to teach one another but annihilate each other. We have remained to admire great minds of the past while we in the present have nothing. We remain empty vessels, that keeps howling the wind that blows over it. From child hood our mind have been indoctrinated to the way of kufar, what is wrong is made seemingly fair, and what is fair has been totally wiped out of our lives. We grow up to be teached of evolution and adaptation, when revolution and sacrificed made our heroes are white washed in history. Surely it the promise of Allah is true, for the end days will not come until there is so much ignorance in the society, and the vanishing of knowledge from the society.
