It has become a yearly practice that Hizb-ut-Tahrir (the Party of Liberation) operates more actively as the end of the Month of Rajab approaches. On 28th of Rajab, 1342 AH, 3rd March, 1924, the Ottoman Caliphate State was abolished; Islam ceased to be implemented. This is viewed as a big catastrophe by the Hizb, and should be the case for every Muslim, in view of the heavy losses encountered from the Khilafah’s absence.
As the Hizb is totally involved in re-establishing the Caliphate, being the sole political system for Muslims, it puts all his members and supporters on high alert to commemorate the anniversary.
Over the last couple of years, the Hizb arranged several activities, varying from holding conferences to arranging peaceful marches, in addition to writing essays about Khilafah, giving lectures and sermons on the subject in the different mosques, universities and other gathering places, with the objective of widening the scope of people's thoughts about the incident, and motivating them to work for the cause.
Last year was different, as the Palestinian Authority (PA) was directed by J. Dayton (the American Security Coordinator in the West Bank) to do its best to prevent the Hizb activities, even if an extensive use of power is necessary, which they did.
This year, and despite the brutal response from the PA during anti-Annapolis activities which resulted in killing, arresting and breaking the bones of participants, the Hizb decided to carry on with its yearly activities, no matter what happens, and declared a number of activities in the West Bank and Gaza.
In Gaza, things went on smoothly, but in the West Bank they were completely different! The PA expressed its complete reluctance to allow any of the Hizb's activities to go on, and put all its security forces on alert. The following summary can be enough evidences of what has happened to prove that the PA is a worse version of the Arab regimes:
1. On the eve of every event, the PA Security Forces personnel carried out a number of precautionary arrests among the prominent members of Hizb-ut-tahrir. This took place in all big cities, suburbs and villages of the West Bank.
2. On the day of every event, since morning, the PA Security Forces closed all venues which were to house the activities, including the womens activities in Hebron. They established military barriers blocking all main roads, in addition to subsidiary streets leading to the event venues, turning back busses loaded with male and female participants. They had lists of wanted names, and some under-cover police from every city and village to identify Hizb members and arrested them immediately. They transferred detainees to Police Stations for interrogation.
3. As the time of the events approached, police become more and more alert. They scattered in almost every square inch of the land of the activity and its surroundings, with heavily-armed police squads touring the place, and arresting every "suspect"!
4. In spite of all these precautions, the event took place, which drove the police forces out of their minds. They instantly started beating demonstrators very brutally with wooden and electric sticks, tear gas, and other means. In addition to further arrests, in Bethlehem, they arrested a Christian youth. When they discovered the fact, he was released. Before he left the room where he was detained, he told the police: "had I been Muslim, I would have worked with HT!
5. Most of the Hizb members and supporters were set free before midnight, except very few of them who spent approximately two weeks.
6. It was obvious that the decision to act against the Hizb activities had been taken by J. Dayton, the Security Coordinator in the West Bank. As a proof of that, Dayton commended the readiness and sincerity of the PA forces on the ground, thus, ordering some more military equipment, clothes, and perhaps cash money for the Police Personnel.
7. The so-called Minister of Interior, A/Razzaq Al-Yahya told a group of PA Security Police Force that they are being trained not to fight Israel, but to maintain local security!!
Undoubtedly, every one who participated in the Hizb activities has a story to tell, but more important, every one in West Bank and Gaza has heard of HT, and that its objective is to establish Khilafah, which will soon be established inshallah.
Once the Khilafah is established, the streets of Muslims will be safe, and people can walk on them freely.

The problem is many muslims don't want the khilafa to be established. Many, if not most wish to assimilate with the west, and adopt their way of life. Many muslims only feel like religion should be confined to mosques. They just want to live comfortable lives and have a safe retirement home with their kids settled comfortably with good degrees and a good bank balance. They think that the power of the west is going to last for a long-long time to come and it is better to just accept them as the rulers and leaders rather than resist them in all spheres of life, be is cultural or anything else. |

I will do anything and everything in my power to help with the re-establishment of the Khilafah. It's unfortunate to see the state of things at the moment, having "Muslims" fighting against the re-establishment of Khilafah. When in reality, the peace and justice we all seek lies with re-establishment of the Khilafah and implementation of Shari'ah. Allah knows best! |

Salam, I always here regarding desperation, desperation from West, however people fail to account for what it is actually about. In this case of the article it could mean Dayton trying to muscle through the peaceful protest of HT. But honestly, most of the western (Non-politicians) if they were to read this article would not understand what desperation lies in Dayton, in trying to suppress the Peace protest by HT. However, the same ambiguity may also arise in the heads of Islamic Ummah who donot have a clarity of what Islam means. Every group has an objective example Tableeghi, Sufi, Buddhist, or Hindu. As long as the objectives of these group donot collide with the Road Map of imperialistic states, irrelative to where these Protest takes place, they are allowed to be taken place in the name of freedom of expression. However when the same freedom of expresion i practised by HT, surmounts to an offense which is tried by all means to be suppressed by the governing forces. Why is such a fear for HT? After all it claims and also has not been asociated untill today by overt or covert means that HT is a non-peaceful organization. And all that HT claims is that it stands for the re-establishment of Khilafah. Whats the fuss about it?. The complete west thinks along with the minority of Islamic ummah that Khilafah is an old fashioned political system based on old fashioned Economical system, with suppression and oppression of it's masses. If one is strong in such a claim, then let the Muslim ummah decide for this old-fashioned political system, which in every means according to the westrn standard a failure system, unable to answer the needs of present ambiguities. The creation of such a state should further embolden their stand being the leading western statess against a weak muslim old-fashioned state, leading to several advantages to the west. Easily should over-power the weak islamic state and to hold on to their so-called higher western standard. But however, why is there a desperation to suppress the creation of so-called weak Islamic state. Does the west thinks, such a weak islamic state will bring down its Economical system? Or does the west thinks, such a weak state is going to bring a change to its political system or judicial system or social system. The desperation comes for a reason and it should be from the facts that, if the western system is based on corrupt ideals devoid of wisdom, corrupt form of political governance or just corruption which only supports the fasicm or corporatism then there should be something black in the bottom to counter the so-called weak islamic system which totally based on un-revisable 1439 yrs old Quran. Why such oppression when west seems to harbour the notion of superiority in thought and action. If really HT is inviting the ummah towards weak concepts, then why doesnot the west simply step asides and let the muslims get into the folds of the western fansied vision of weak Islamic state. JazakAllah Sheikh for this account of dawah in the occupied territories. InshAllah the dawah to establish the Khilafah and raise awareness will continue regardless of the obstacles put in the way by the enemies of Islam, whose desperation can be seen on a daily basis. |

These regimes which regulate the affairs not on behalf of their people but for other outsiders, and govern in accordance to their schemes, are not people of leadership and vision among their people. Rather they are 'cowards' and with all cowards they stand their ground only when there is someone to back them up. Al-Hum-Du-Lil-Lah, for this Ummah the writing is on the wall for even the non-Muslims to see, that the time is fast approaching when the outsiders, there power and influence over the affairs of this Ummah will be naught. But the cowards are deaf, dumb, and blind to this fact. The frantic activity over the Muslim Lands of those who support them is evidence of the winds of change that are sweeping across the Muslim world moving this powerfull Ummah fast towards its destiny and a new era for Mankind insha'Allah. |
