Kurds are Part of the Muslim Ummah and the Injustice Inflicted Upon them is Part of the Injustice done to the Muslim Ummah

Muslims have suffered greatly from the ideological war waged on them by the Kaffir West to form them into sects. One of the main ideas used to eliminate their ideological, political and geographical unity is the idea of nationalism that made the Muslims, after they were one nation to the exclusion of other people, has made them fragmented on the basis of ethnicity. So the Arab became proud of his “Arabism”, the Turkish of his “Turkism”, the Persian of his “Persianism”, and the Kurdish of his “Kurdism”.

This notion has brought the Muslims miseries, especially to our Kurdish brothers, as their blood was shed on the altars of nationalism, just like the rest of the nationalities, but the Kurdish brothers had been suffering their fortune from exploitation, more than others. The Kurdish parties had exploited them before others, and the regimes and the international community continue to exploit them; sometimes under the pretext of protection of minorities, at other times under the excuse of the right to self-determination, and at others of self-rule. All of that in order to pass their plans to further divide the Muslim countries and their people so that it becomes easier for them to control the country and its resources, and to tear their Islamic brotherhood. How greatly our Kurdish brothers and sisters have suffered the regimes injustice that works day and night to create a rift between the Kurds and their brothers and sisters of Arabs, Turks and others; the events that took place in the Court of Qamishli are not far away from our memories.

As we see the tragedy that has befallen everyone, especially our Kurdish brothers and sisters of persecution, oppression, injustice, siege and displacement, it becomes necessary that we all work together to address the problem fundamentally. For we are one Ummah to the exclusion of other people, and Allah Almighty says:

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ

“O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.”

(Al-Hujurat: 13)

Kurds are part of the Islamic Ummah, we are anguished for their grief, and complain for their complaints. We must all take off these notions of ignorance that have poisoned our minds and distanced us from our Deen, and must wear the cloak of piety that makes people equal. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

«لا فرق لعربي على أعجمي إلا بالتقوى»

“There is no difference between an Arab and an Ajam (non-Arab), except by piety”.

So that we return as we were, despite the plots of the enemy, loving brothers for the sake of Allah; our peace is one and our war is one. We oppose those who defy Allah and His Messenger, and ally those who ally Allah and His Messenger. With this we become one hand united in the face of the enemies of Islam, especially at the time the Islamic Ummah is witnessing a difficult labor marking a new birth of the Khilafah Rashideh State that will change the face of the world, and take revenge for every Muslim; be him Arab, Kurd or otherwise of other peoples.

O Muslims, from any country of the Muslim countries; Arabs, Kurds and Ajams,: Our Lord is one, our Prophet is one, our Deen is one, our enemy is one, and our calamity is one, so let us unite on what pleases our Lord and establishes our Deen. We must know that the only solution to the Muslim Ummah is the existence of one ruler who rules us by the Book of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and the Sunnah of His Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, so that he gathers its unity, unites the people, and protects its heart of power from any attack. In which Kurds, Arabs, Turks and other peoples are melted into one pot, which is the pot of the unifying Islam; wherein everyone has equal rights, and equal duties. So that everyone rejoices in the brotherhood of Iman and the justice of Islam, He سبحانه وتعالى says:

إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ

“The believers are but brothers.”

(Al-Hujurat: 10)

We in Hizb ut Tahrir invite everyone to the diligent and sincere work for the disposal of the domination of the Kaffir West, and liberation from all forms of colonialism: political, economic, military and ideological; through the establishment of the Khilafah Rashideh, which the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم gave us its good tidings.

“And that day the believers will rejoice; In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.”

(Ar-Rum: 4-5)
