The Western alliance led by the United States and involving Turkey, Saudi Arabia and a number of Muslims countries, launched a military operation against Iraq and Syria on 23-25 September, during which they bombed areas in Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa in Syria, and killed women and children. Before carrying out this massacre the coalition formed of Western and international powers informed both the Syrian Baath regime and Iran, and has frankly declared war on the people in Syria and Iraq. I think that the war against terrorism in the region, in particular, must go in the framework of common consensus”. When asked about whether Turkey’s involvement will include military operations or not? President Erdogan answered, “It includes everything. Both military and political”.
We in Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Turkey remind Erdogan, the President of the Republic of Turkey, to start with of this important matter: O Erdogan! When the Baathist regime in Syria carried out the massacres against the Syrian people, you said these words in August 2011: “We do not look to the Syrian issue as a matter of foreign and foreign problem. What happens in Syria is an “internal affair” for Turkey, given shared historical and cultural ties, and an 850km (530-mile) common border. We cannot remain a bystander. Quite the contrary, we are forced to hear the voices out there, and we hear, and of course, we are doing what is required”. We ask you now, it has been more than three years on these words, so what did you do during this period? All that you have done is march on the way of the American policy in Syria, and now you stand in the position of supporting the international colonial alliance, which launched the war against the people of Syria and Iraq in order to acquit the Syrian regime under the pretext of the war on terrorism. So have these people, turned from being relatives, brothers and friends to become terrorists? Was it not the Syrian affair your affair? And here is the coalition gang led by America is waging war on the Syrian territory, which you consider it an internal affair; so if Syria was your internal affair, then the United States is showering your territory and your people with a barrage of bombs, would you ask him to continue or stop?!.
O Erdogan! Everything that was shrouded in some mystery has become crystal clear in the world, the friend and foe have differentiated, and the West, America, Russia, Iran and China and all the world powers along with the Baath regime and Al-Maliki have declared the war on the Syrian and the Iraqi people. Conferences that were held on behalf of the Friends of Syria under the care of America were all conferences of betrayal, but you did not listen to the advice of those who always worked to expose the dirty plots carried out by those Kaffirs, and you constantly supported the efforts of the thieves who are waiting for opportunities to steal the Syrian revolution. And today, the colonial Alliance gang, that bombards Syria and Iraq under the pretext of terrorism, announced its ongoing war on Islam, again. The time has come to identify the enemy: Is it the people in Syria and Iraq? Or is it the United States and the international alliance?!.
