Another Treachery for Arafat/Abbas Organization

News:

On February 2nd 2014, the New York Times reported that President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority said that a new Palestinian state would not have an army, and advocated that NATO should be in charge of security.

Comment:

As part of the ongoing peace talks, Mahmoud Abbas has revealed that he would like to see NATO have a permanent presence along the border between the Jewish State and the future Palestinian state. In his opinion NATO will take over security responsibilities, once the security forces of the Jewish state have been phased out. In Abbas’s interview with the New York Times, a number of matters related to security were discussed and the paper surmised Abbas’s offer as “Jewish soldiers could remain in the West Bank for up to five years (not three, as he previously stated) and that Jewish settlements should be phased out of the new Palestinian state along a similar timetable.” Palestine, he said, “would not have its own army, only a police force, so the NATO mission would be responsible for preventing the weapons smuggling and terrorism that Israel fears.”

Regarding the length and scope of the NATO mission Abbas said, “For a long time, and wherever they want, not only on the eastern borders, but also on the western borders, everywhere. The third party [NATO] can stay. They can stay to reassure the Israelis, and to protect us.” Abbas also admitted that the NATO proposal was not new said he had won support for the notion from former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and from President George W. Bush.

Abbas’s proposal coincides with the efforts of the US Secretary of State John Kerry to put together a framework of core principles for the envisaged peace deal, which includes: a security plan, a border roughly along the 1967 lines, Palestinian recognition of the Jewish state and Jerusalem as a shared capital.

The timing of the proposal is also fortunate for both America and NATO, as they look to drastically reduce their military footprint in Afghanistan, after suffering 13 years of humiliation at the hands of the Afghan resistance. Abbas’s proposal gives America another life-line to redefine NATO’s mission, which has been the subject of repeated debate amongst America’s European allies.

This is the reality of Abbas who toils day and night to present to the Americans another opportunity to replace the Jewish occupation of Palestine with a combination of crusader and Jewish forces. Abbas does not care how long the crusader forces stay and if they completely surround the miniscule Palestinian state, which he yearns to establish. He is only concerned about entrenching American and NATO hegemony in Palestine; thereby enabling the crusader forces to not only protect the Jewish state, but to directly fight the forces of the Khilafah State when the glorious state of Islam returns.

This is the evil plan of Abbas the head of the Palestinian Authority. Muslims of Palestine must shun this plan and patiently work for the re-establishment of the Khilafah state that will liberate their land from the filth of the Kuffar and return it to the fold of Dar al-Islam.

“O you who believe! Respond to Allah and to the Messenger when He calls you to what will bring you to life! Know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that you will be gathered to Him.”
