Tyrant rulers side with Israel against the Muslims of Gaza

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "You see the believers as regards their being merciful among themselves and showing love among themselves and being kind, resembling one body, so that, if any part of the body is not well then the whole body shares the sleeplessness (insomnia) and fever with it." [Bukhari]
The body of the believers is once again suffering sleeplessness and fever as Israel unleashes its latest atrocity on the Muslims of Palestine. Gaza, home to 1.5 million Muslims has been under daily attack by the Israeli's for years. In the past week alone up to 36 people, including women and children have been martyred by the Israeli's. However, not content with simply killing Muslims on a daily basis, Israel has imposed a crippling blockade on Gaza preventing basic necessities of food, water, medicine and fuel supplies from reaching the entire population.

Gaza is on the brink of a humanitarian catastrophe due to the Israeli blockade; a bakery that normally feeds thousands had three days worth of flour; hospital generators with barely enough fuel and no spare parts powered incubators in which twin boys born 2 1/2 months prematurely were being kept alive, their thin chests heaving convulsively. Leaving the hospital after seeing his young sons, Ashraf al-Namy, a Gaza resident said he feared he would never see them alive again. "I'm afraid when the electricity goes off," he said. "They only live on artificial respiration. What is going to happen to them?"

Israel, through its actions, has become an open enemy to the Muslim Ummah. Its crimes against the Muslims of Palestine are known to all. This latest atrocity comes as no surprise to us. But what is worse is the open treachery of our tyrant rulers specifically Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and their direct role in aiding and abetting the Israeli blockade and its continued occupation of the blessed land of Palestine.

What was Hosni Mubarak's response to the cries of help from the women and children of Gaza?

Instead of opening the border between Egypt and Gaza and sending humanitarian assistance, Mubarak sent troops to enforce the blockade against the Muslims and prevent anyone crossing to get supplies. When their plan failed and the Muslims of Gaza broke open the border, flooding into Egypt, troops met the people of Gaza with dogs and water canons. They beat defenceless Muslim women with batons for the only crime of seeking food for their families.

When Muslims in Egypt attempted to gather in Tahrir Square to show their solidarity and support for helping the Muslims of Gaza the Egyptian security forces chased them through the streets of central Cairo. Hundreds were arrested to prevent any further demonstrations taking place.

The treachery of the Muslim rulers and their silence and inaction over the Israeli blockade in Gaza exposes their true colours to the entire Ummah. They serve only themselves and their masters in London and Washington. They have taken sides with the enemies of Allah and his messenger against the Muslims.

The strength of feeling among the Muslim Ummah was clearly visible in the demonstrations that took place across the Muslim world calling on these rulers to aid the Muslims of Gaza and sever their links with the Israeli State.

Despite the brutal clampdown by the security forces in Egypt some brave Muslims managed to still demonstrate. They shouted, "Gaza residents, we are with you night and day."

Around 5,000 Muslims took to the streets of Sana'a in Yemen. Gathering outside the United Nation offices they shouted, "Shame on you, shame on you, the people of Gaza are under siege." They held up placards condemning the "silence" of Arab leaders towards the Israeli actions in Gaza. "Oh Arabs, wake up," read one placard. Another read: "Oh Arabs until when this silence continues?"

"End the Gaza siege" and "End crimes against the Palestinian people," read banners raised by thousands of Lebanese protesters, who took to the streets of many Lebanese cities.

In Jordan, hundreds of thousands of protesters organised rallies across the country calling on the Jordanian government to close down the Israeli embassy in the capital Amman and sever diplomatic ties with Tel Aviv and Washington. Thousands of students In Mauritania urged the Arab governments to stand up and be counted. They also called on the Mauritanian government to sever its ties with Israel.

The Students Union in Algeria organised on-campus protests. Secretary General of the students union Ismail Mujaheed said, "Are we going to sit on the fence watching our brothers and sisters in Gaza being slain day in, day out by?"

Oh Muslims!
The United Nations and these treacherous Muslim rulers will never resolve the occupation of Palestine. How many UN resolutions and International conventions has Israel breached since its establishment without any response from the international community?

How many times do we need reminding of the treachery of our rulers?

A few days before the Israeli blockade George Bush ended his Middle East tour in Egypt meeting Hosni Mubarak only a few hundred miles from Gaza in Sharm al-Sheikh. One of Bush's orders to Mubarak was to do more to secure the border between Egypt and Gaza. Mubarak's obedience to the orders of Bush rather than Allah (swt) is now on display for the entire Ummah to witness.

Oh Muslims!
Look to how cheap our blood has become. The Messenger or Allah (saw) said, "The blood of a Muslim is worth more than the Ka'ba and all its surroundings." Yet today Muslim blood is flowing through the streets of Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan without anyone to protect it. Our blood is so cheap that in Iraq America openly admitted it had stopped counting those killed!

Oh Muslims!
We know your blood is boiling and you are suffering sleeplessness and fever. Its now time you directed your energy and your anger into working to remove these puppet rulers and appointing one leader – a Khaleefah in their place. The Khaleefah is a ruler who is a servant to you and works for your interests alone. He will destroy these artificial borders between our lands and unite us into one state – The Khilafah State.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "Indeed the Imam is a shield, from whose behind (one) would fight, and by whom one would protect oneself." [Muslim]

Under the Khaleefah, who is the Imam of the Muslims, he will unite the Muslim armies and then put an end to the Israeli atrocities once and for all by liberating the entire land of Palestine including Gaza through Jihad. Following the example of Khaleefah Nur ad-deen and his General Salahudin Ayyubi during the time of the crusades.

Egypt at that time was under the rule of the Fatimid's who had declared independence from the Abbasid Khilafah. This disunity allowed the Christian crusaders to enter the Muslim lands and occupy Al-Quds and Al-Shaam (Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and part of Iraq). Under General Salahudin Ayyubi the Fatimids were finally defeated and Egypt and its army became united with the Khilafah once more. Salahudin then unleashed the full power of the Islamic army on the crusaders and liberating the entire land of Al-Shaam and Al-Quds from their influence.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "This matter (Khilafah) will continue after me in Al-Madina, then (move to) Al-Shaam, then to the peninsula, then to Iraq, then to the city (Constantinople), then to Bait-ul-Maqdis. So if it reaches Bait-ul-Maqdis, then it would have reached its (natural resting place); and no people who remove it (i.e. the capital of the Khilafah) from their land will ever get it back again (for them to be the capital again)." [Ibn 'Asaakir]

Every city mentioned in the hadith has been the capital of the Khilafah at one time or another except Bait ul_maqdis (Al-Quds). Constantinople (Istanbul) was the last capital of the Khilafah and the next capital for the future Khilafah when it reaches Al-Shaam will be Al-Quds inshAllah.

We make du'a to Allah (swt) that the dismantling of the border between Egypt and Gaza is the first of many borders to be destroyed in the Muslim world. Ameen.
