OIC Countries are Capitalist and Pursue Only Economic Benefits

On 2nd October in the capital of Tatarstan, an international economic summit of Russia and OIC countries Kazan Summit 2013 took place.

Welcoming the guests of Business Breakfast that opened the Forum the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed the opinion that Kazan summit has established itself as a platform that allows to bring together our country and the countries of the Islamic world.

“There appeared a new platform in Russia, where we can discuss our positions, to bring together Russia and the Islamic world. The world must be integrated. I would like to thank our partners for their attention to the Forum – “ Rossiyskaya Gazeta” quoted the head of the republic.

Comment:

This is the fifth Kazan Summit, the purpose of which is to encourage investment in the Russian economy from OIC countries and the further expansion of business cooperation. Kazan Summit runs parallel with other economic forum with a blaring name “Russia Calling”, which holds VTB Capital in Moscow.

Both forums are held for the fifth time, both are designed to convince participants in improving the investment climate in Russia and to raise additional funds in the economy of the country.

Forum VTB Capital “Russia Calling” assembled potential investors representing the Western world with its capitalist ideology. For this reason, guests and participants were diligently convinced not only of the growth of GDP and the reliability of the Russian economy, but also in the fact that Russia – is the rule of law, where human rights are respected. Therefore, speaking at a forum Putin had to answer on questions that did not apply directly to the economy such as the question of Wall Street Journal reporter on political prisoners in Russia.

Kazan Summit also gathered potential investors, but despite Minnekhanov’s words of rapprochement with the Islamic world, countries represent Islam only geographically. Despite such a grandiose name the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in no way represents the interests of the Islamic world and especially Islam as an ideology. The countries of this cooperation as well as Western countries represent capitalism and pursue only economic benefits. If OIC even formally represented the interests of the Islamic Ummah then it would certainly refuse the economic benefits and express support to Russian Muslims where even Quran is banned and for Dawah they not only imprison but already kill them.
