Rather than personally leading relief efforts after powerful earthquakes killed hundreds and left hundreds of thousands homeless in Baluchistan, Pakistan’s PM, Nawaz Sharif, busied himself in digging a deep grave for Pakistan’s security. On Friday 27 September 2013, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif spoke from the ‘minbar’ of the Western colonialist tool, the United Nations, and announced the desire of the Kayani-Sharif regime to hold talks with the tribal Muslims who have been fighting the American occupation in Afghanistan for twelve years. At the same time, as offering the “carrot” of talks, the Kayani-Sharif regime carries the “stick” of military operations for those who can sense the danger in the sudden desire to “talk.”
The reality is that whether American instructs the Kayani-Sharif regime to use the “carrot” or the “stick,” the purpose is the same. America is joining its nights with its days to secure nine bases in Afghanistan, after its limited withdrawal, bases which are to be staffed by over 100,000 foreign personnel. Although the American stooge, Hamid Karzai, has assured America these nine bases, America needs a settlement to make its ill-gotten gains “halaal.”
Hizb ut-Tahrir in the Wilayah of Pakistan calls upon the Muslims of the tribal regions and beyond to raise their voices against these bases and denounce the use of both talks and operations to achieve them. Why must we incur the sin of undermining Pakistan’s security by working for such a large hostile crusader presence? Allah سبحانه وتعالى forbade the Muslims to co-operate in matters of sin and hostility,
وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ
“Help each other to goodness and taqwa. Do not help each other to wrongdoing and enmity. Have taqwa of Allah. Allah is severe in retribution.”
(Al-Maidah, 5:2)
As for the Goodness and the Taqwa, it will only be achieved by a righteous Khaleefah, who will lead the armed forces and the Mujahideen as one force against the enemy forces. Only then will the strength of the Muslims be used to eradicate all the destabilizing American presence from the region, whether bases or consulates, military or private military. Thus Hizb ut-Tahrir Wilayah of Pakistan calls upon the armed forces to grant the Nussrah to Hizb ut-Tahrir, led by the eminent scholar and statesman, Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, for the immediate return of the Khilafah to the pure lands of Pakistan.
