Hizb ut Tahrir in the Blessed Land – Palestine has organized an important protest in front of Doura Court, southwest of Hebron (Al-Khalil) to protest the arrest of its Media Office member, Dr. Mus’ab Abu Arqoub from his house on Friday evening, 7/2/2015 by the intelligence agencies of the PA (Palestinian Authority).

The intelligence agency exercised deception, lies, and violation of the PA law during and after the arrest, where Dr. Abu Arqoub was taken from his home without a legal warrant under the pretext that he will meet with director of the agency for only half an hour. Then they provided false information for his family on his whereabouts, and instead of transferring him to court this Sunday morning according to the PA law, he was transferred to Jericho prison without trial, which proves conclusively that the PA security services are exercising thuggery against the people of Palestine and it is ruled by the law of intimidation and terrorizing in line with the American and the Jewish occupation wishes.

Hizb ut Tahrir rejects this gagging policy exercised by the PA, and rejects political arrests of all the people of Palestine including the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, and it will exercise its political right to denounce all evils of the PA which is submissive in front of the attacks of the Jews against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the people of Palestine, while with its security services it terrorizes the people of Palestine.
