The Al-Shaari’ Newspaper, issued in Yemen, surprised us on Thursday 12/12/2013 in its 682nd issue with its bold title on the front page: “Confessions of the Suicidal Assassins of ‘Urdi: A senior military source involved in the investigation says: ‘One of them said they were soldiers of the Khilafah State and admitted that the equipment of the Hilux car with bombs took place in a village near the capital, where they rented a house.”
As the news hinted at the involvement of some personalities in the car bomb attack: Does any of those leaders work to establish the Khilafah?! The pharmaceuticals consumed by the individual attacking the ‘Urdi that were mentioned in the news as well, only mentioned the Algerian officer Al-Habib Suwaydeh. They do not mention any significant forensic evidence relied upon by the one who said that he is a “soldier of the Khilafah State” in killing the people inside the ‘Urdi compound. How did he allow himself to consume pharmaceuticals causing the absence of the mind to conduct a cold-blooded murder?
The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم in working to establish a state that governs by Islam did not strike with a sword nor did he throw an arrow. The best proof of that is when the Ansar pledged to him in the Second Bayah of Aqaba in Mecca and asked his permission to fight the Mushrikeen from Quraish by saying: “By the One who sent you, if you wish, we shall draw out against the people of Mina tomorrow with our swords!” The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم answered:
«لم نؤمر بذلك، ولكن ارجعوا إلى رحالكم»
“We have not been ordered to do so, so return to your camps.” As reported by Ibn Ishaaq.
Fighting is not the method for the establishment of the State, and the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم has not established his State with murder and assassinations, although he and his companions owned the ability to do so.
The Western countries, America and Europe, went mad when they came to know that there are sons from the Muslims working diligently, day and night, to establish the Khilafah State, and that within the Islamic Ummah there is a public opinion in favor of it. These states have no more possibilities left but to distort the image of the Khilafah State in the minds of the Muslims.
The Western countries have been followed in their distortion by a number of Muslims. This is what we witness today of linking between the attack on the compound of the Ministry of Defence in ‘Urdi and the Khilafah State in the news report by the Al-Shaari’ Newspaper on its front page.
The Khilafah State is the Muslims’ political entity, the system of governance in Islam, and its establishment from anew is an obligation upon the necks of the Muslims after the Western countries themselves – back then under British lead – managed its destruction in 1924, tearing the Muslim lands apart and bringing them under their control.
The only Shar’i way to establish the Khilafah State after its abolishment, to rule by Islam in all aspects of life, “political, economic, social, matters of foreign policy, education and others” is the method of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, when he worked to establish a state ruling by Islam in al-Madina al-Munawarah, taking three stages:
1. Creating the block that works for the establishment of the rule of Islam, as well as raising their awareness over the provisions and ideas of Islam, and restricting them therein.
2. Conducting intellectual struggle to demonstrate the ideas of Islam and prove the falsity of other ideas, in addition to the political struggle by exposing the projects of the Western countries in the Muslim lands to make the Muslims see them with their own eyes and thus causing them failure. And finally requesting Nusrah (material support) from the people of influence and power.
3. The stage of receiving power, as did the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم, when the tribes of Aws and Khazraj gave him the victory to rule with Islam.
Hizb ut Tahrir follows the method of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to establish the Khilafah State since its inception in 1953 at the hands of the eminent scholar and competent politician Taqi ad-Din an-Nabhani, and after him Abdul-Qadeem Zallum – Allah’s mercy upon both of them – and still its current Ameer Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah is doing so, Allah bless him. Today Hizb ut Tahrir works in more than forty countries around the world, including Yemen, to raise awareness among the sons of the Muslim Ummah of the ideas and provisions of Islam and their implementation in reality. It fights an intellectual battle with the Western countries to expel their ideas and laws. It reveals their plans in the Muslim countries, so that the Muslim Ummah enables it to take over power and establish the Khilafah State, based on public opinion emanating from general awareness. This is the method of the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم which will return the governance by Islam within the Khilafah State to resume the Islamic way of life that disappeared from the earth more than ninety years ago.
It is time for the establishment of the Khilafah State after a long absence. The Western states will not benefit from distorting its image, and they will have no other chance but to deal with it as a fait accompli.
يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِؤُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ
“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.”
(As-Saff: 8)
