An update on the dawah in Syria

Mundhir Abdullah’s conversation with a Brigade Commander

We visited one of the military Brigades under the umbrella of the ‘Free Army’ today in order to invite them to support the work for the Khilafah. We sat with the Commander of the Brigade in attendance of some of his supporters and forces.

We presented him with our thoughts so he said in response: We are all Muslims, we all want Islam but the present time does not permit us to establish the Khilafah. It is not possible to implement Islam in one go and it is necessary for there to be a gradual approach. This is because the peoples are not prepared to accept the rule of Islam.

So I said to him: “What do we implement whilst we are preparing the environment for the implementation of Islam?”

So he said: “A Dawlah Madaniyyah (Civil State).”

So I said to him: “This means that you can implement Kufr (systems and laws of disbelief) upon the Muslims in one go? So is it permitted rationally to implement imported foreign Kufr which contradicts the Aqeedah (belief) of the Ummah in one go whereas the implementation of Islam which is our Deen and civilisation is not possible to be implemented in one go??!!!”

We then explained that we have no problem internally within the State in terms of implementing Islam and that the problem was external with the disbelieving states who are the ones who have laid down a Veto upon Islam.

The doubts of the commander were all laid to rest however he remained insistent upon falsehood which was in complete contrast to his supporters who supported the idea Khilafah strongly.

A Dawah Carrier’s view on Syria

Every day that we spend in Syria our confidence grows that the people of Ash-Shaam are the most suited to carry the message of Islaam and establish its State. Truly they are the purest of people and truly their land is the homeland of Islaam.

The size of response from the people to the call from all factions from amongst them is great indeed.

Time has been a favour benefiting the revolution and it has not worked against it as the mission of the Ummah is increasing in clarity and the rows are being straightened and refined. The enemy is bleeding, the gangs are collapsing and the region is engaging and interacting with the revolution to the point where if they gained victory over their enemy and pledged allegiance to an Imaam in Damascus, you would see the Muslims around it turn towards it in Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq so as to form a central point for the launching of the greater state that unifies the Ummah in its entirety from Indonesia to Morocco.

In any case, it is for certain that Ash-Shaam will have a pivotal role in relation to the destiny of the Ummah as it has done previously throughout history whether the Khilafah is established in it or it is established in another place.

Mundhir Abdullah’s view on Syria

Yesterday was a historic day in the life of Da’wah….

We were gathered reading the Ahaadeeth of the Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم that talked about the people of Ash-Shaam explaining their merits, high station and the strength of their Imaan, like the statement of the Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم:

“If the people of Ash-Shaam become corrupted then there will be no good in you.”

We came to this good land and we were shocked in a positive way, we found that the true reality was even greater than we had imagined. This is because the Imaan of the people, their pure Fitrah (nature), their love for Islaam and their willingness to sacrifice takes a man back in astonishment. We have not seen the like of this in our lives before despite having being present in many other lands.

Yesterday was a great day. Allah opened for us, for me and my brother Abu Nizaar a great opening. If it was related to the level of public opinion achieved in Halab (Aleppo) or related to the response of the people of power to support us. By Allah it was something that was unbelievable and I cannot find a description for what happened except to say the word ‘Fath’ (Opening, victory).

And we were so happy to witness these achievements and we do not see in them except a renewal of the Seerah of the Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم and a repeat of what happened with Mus’ab Ibn ‘Umair (ra), the beginning of a new era and glorious dawn that will announce the end of the tyrannical oppressive rule (Mulk Jabriy).
