Only Khilafah will end the Oppression of Muslims in Uzbekistan

On 14/5/2014, the District Court in Tashkent issued sentences against seven citizens from the city of Chinaz, they were all charged with membership in the banned Hizb ut Tahrir. They have been criminalized under Article 2-244, the first section of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan with “establishing, managing, and participating in extremist religious organizations, separatist and fundamentalist, and other organizations, is prohibited,” according to activists in human rights organizations. A ten-year prison sentence was issued against Bakhodir Ahmadov, aged 34 years and Abdul Rahman Mirzayev, aged 45 years. Siraj ud-Deen Baymtov, 39 years, was sentenced for eight years of imprisonment. And a conditional three-year imprisonment was sentenced against: Lutfullah Barmanov, 37 years old, and Hassan Tordokhaddjayev, 27 years old, and Ameedjon Aissayev, 34 years old, and Bakhram Ahmadov, 31 years old.

Twenty-five years have passed since Karimov seized power in Uzbekistan, and since that time the country did not achieve anything worth mentioning! Rather, the regime destroyed the country and the people, and in his reign the country degenerated and retreated, he has deliberately impoverished people physically and intellectually… On the one hand, this country rich in natural resources has been looted by a group of criminals who took over the power and controlled all structures of the state institutions; can hardly see an official, big or small, who is not associated with that gang of criminals. Therefore, we see how the general ordinary people in Uzbekistan are getting poorer every day, while members of that gang are becoming richer and richer! On the other hand, the regime deliberately worked to corrupt the people’s ideas; it distorted the education system and adopted the Latin alphabet and nothing of Islam was left in the curriculum, but its name! It broadcast intellectual poison across the visual, audio and written media.

The only achievement that the regime can boast about is his excellence in murder, terrorism, arrests, and torture of Muslims, be they men or women. According to the information of the Uzbek human rights organizations, Bakhaddar Ahmadov was arrested by elements of the Counter-Terrorism Department linked to Interior Security and was imprisoned in solitary confinement without charge for 15 days, and without the knowledge of his family or the lawyer or witnesses. He was then transferred to the Internal Security of Tashkent city; for two weeks, he was exposed to brutal torture in order to extract confessions to their liking. Also Murkhmat Mirzayev aged sixty, has been detained illegally for 45 days in Ghozel nieghbourhood at the Internal Security headquarters without charge and without the presence of a lawyer who simply is not allowed to intervene in the defendant’s affairs or pay him a private visit.

Mrukhmat Mirzayev and eight other residents of the city of Chinaz were illegally arrested and taken to Okruganski Court with unlawful cases to obtain arrest warrants, and then the Court approved arrest warrants for 15 days in the absence of the detainees themselves. After that, the women were taken to the Interior Security headquarters in Tashkent region where they were subjected to the worst kinds of torture and ill-treatment to force them to give confessions and put pressure on the relatives of the detainees in order to bow to the demands of the security forces. The women were tortured by four policemen whose age does not exceed 25 years, under the supervision of Detective Nuderom Saidovm, they were hurled with insults that were verbally outrageous, they were pulled by their hair on the ground and their heads were hit against the wall, and with bottles and plastic sticks. They remained at the Internal Security headquarters for 30 to 40 days. The judicial proceedings had begun on 26 March 2014 CE; Anarbayev, the prosecution official of the Tashkent region, read the list of charges and left the courtroom immediately. Afterwards the court held four sessions without the presence of the public prosecutor, and only on the day of the sentence deliberation another prosecutor appeared, he was Haji Akbar Obeidouallaev, and demanded that the court sentence each of the detainees with 14 years imprisonment.

O Muslims in Uzbekistan:

The elimination of these terrible conditions that you are living whether in terms of economics or intellectual, and the end to injustice and the lack of security and safety, and the deliberate torture and arrests by the regime, is only possible by Islam and the second Khilafah Ar-Rashida state upon the method of the Prophethood. To this, we invite you to work diligently with us in Hizb ut Tahrir to topple this defunct criminal regime soon, Allah willing. And we declare the Khilafah Ar-Rashida that will restore security, and spread justice throughout the world, and Allah is capable of this.
