Authorities in Kyrgyzstan Arrest Five Dawah Carriers

On the 27 of January, the official media in Kyrgyzstan issued news with the headline: “Arrest of Members of the Extremist Group Hizb ut Tahrir in the region of Tchewskaya”. The police and security media reported, “On the 25 of January, the members of the Tenth Division at the Department of Homeland Security have arrested members of the extremist group Hizb ut Tahrir in a house in a residential area (Tandik) of the Modunsky Region.” The accusation against the members is that they were working to recruit new members. “During the raid, 14 banned radical books were confiscated, 2 journals, 19 CDs, numerous notebooks and leaflets. The materials were delivered to the Department of Investigation at the National Security Committee. The detainees were placed in solitary confinement in the Department of Investigation in the National Security Committee.”

Since August 2003, and the Authorities in Kyrgyzstan classified Hizb ut Tahrir as an extremist organization, although there are no reasons or evidences for this, and since then, the party’s members have been pursued and arrested, criminal cases have been fabricated against them; and weapons, ammunition and drugs were planted to implicate them, whereas the practice of torture and abuse against the members of the party has become common in Kyrgyzstan. Thousands of young people were thrown in jail due to fabricated criminal cases. During the past year, the Authorities arrested tens of members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Kyrgyzstan and sentenced them to prison for many years. The charges of the members fall under: attempt to seize power, the dissemination of extremist culture, and preparation for a terrorist act… and so on.

This time they arrested five brothers: Abdiev Daminbai Abi Bilalivch, born in 1983 and lived in the neighborhood of Nocar, married and father of two. Zakirov Gouljigit, born in 1988 and lived in the Lilek neighdorhood of Batkenskaya area, married and father of two. Wakinov Omotbik, born in 1990, resident of Narynskaya, he is not married. Waristanbik Tintshtik, born in 1992, he was born in the area of Jalalabadskaya, he is not married. Botikif Chengiz, a resident in the Toalaskoy area. They are all in custody in the prison of the State Committee for National Security, and up until now their lawyers are not permitted to visit them.

During the past ten years, the government in Kyrgyzstan changed three times, and each time the change was through troubles accompanied by looting and violence. The irony is that the governments changed but the accusations against the party and its members are fixed and did not change! It is worth mentioning that during the popular unrest that occurred, no member of the party was arrested among the ranks of the criminals who carried out looting and violence in the streets. None of the members participated in these disturbances and did not side with any one of the ousted governments in Kyrgyzstan. Moreover more than once, the members of the party took part in bringing peace to the ethnic conflicts in Kyrgyzstan.

Certainly, it is unimaginable that the three heads of state in Kyrgyzstan who competed amongst themselves for power in the country, and reached to power by force to overthrow one another, that they agreed amongst themselves against the members of the party, but there must be a third party that moves them like puppets for its interests. This party is more conniving and brutal compared with those quick to perish puppets; it’s the bloodthirsty Kremlin regime in Russia, who will not accept to lose its influence in Central Asia. It is well known that the infamous Kremlin regime is hostile in its policy towards Islam and Muslims, and fears the return of the Khilafah state which will liberate Muslims in Russia. It imposes on the rulers of Kyrgyzstan to follow the policy of repression and oppression to silence people and to fight the Dawah carriers and all who work for the victory of Deen.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir emphasize the following obvious facts:

First: Hizb ut Tahrir is a political party with Islam as its ideology. Its objective is to resume the Islamic way of life by re-establishing the Islamic Khilafah in Muslim countries through intellectual and political struggle.

Second: The method that Hizb ut Tahrir adopts is the complete method of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم in the establishment of the Islamic state. During the 20 years of the Hizb’s work of the members in Kyrgyzstan, the government could not prove not even once the involvement of the party’s members in activities of terrorism or extremism. The Hizb rejects material action in its work, not fearing the wrath of the criminal regimes, but following the example of the method of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.

Third: The party proved that it is resilient in the face of all desperate attempts that the bankrupt regimes resort to in order to suppress the members who carry the dawah; on the contrary this has increased the dawah in strength. We have trust and confidence that the actions of the authority of Kyrgyzstan will add to our steadfastness, determination, and resolve; and will motivate us to sacrifice all our possessions for the sake of this Deen, and we do not doubt for a moment Allah’s promise to us of victory and rule, whether this pleases the Kuffar and their lowly agents or not.

The work for the establishment of the Islamic Khilafah state is widespread among Muslims all over the world. The loud cries of Muslims are heard around the world in demand for the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah state! Truly the Khilafah will return! This is the promise of Allah Almighty and the prophecy of His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم. And then the wrong-doers will receive the punishment they deserve for their crimes against Islam and Muslims!

وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

“Allah is in control of His affair. However, most of mankind do not know.”
