بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Assalamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
I sent you part of the treatment that has been inflicted on us by the ruling authority in Uzbekistan; the prosecution, imprisonment and torture which amounts to death in many cases. Such treatment is not limited to us only in Hizb ut-Tahrir but includes all of the workers for the Islamic Call. The number of prisoners from Hizb ut-Tahrir alone in the prisons of Uzbekistan is approximately eight thousand, even though that party does not exert any acts of violence.
The oppression of this government was aggravated more this summer than throughout the year. At the beginning of this summer, all the new masools (leaders) who were appointed after the arrest of their predecessors have been arrested. A large number of our active shabab were also arrested. This happened in Tashkent, the capital, in the state of the Ferghana Valley, the state of Andijan and in other states of Uzbekistan.
Many of our shabab started to travel outside the country to work there to avoid the arrest. Nevertheless, the spies of the authority are watching and spying, even on those who travel abroad. In these days in the month of Ramadan the spies of the authority came to ask about who had traveled, and when they did not find them, they took their relatives and held them in their centers to know where their sons went. In addition, they threatened them that they will remain in detention until their sons come back. They treated them with cruelty and brutality, some of them even fainted and the older fell to the ground from fatigue.
The authority started to assign its employees in the water and gas departments; the members of the Shura Council being men and women of the locality who were assigned to spy to know where the families of prisoners get their expenditures, where they eat, wear, and how they live.
The prisoners who have completed their sentences; they blackmail them to leave the work with Hizb ut-Tahrir and start working with the authority, to spy on the party. Moreover, the one who refuses, they say to him: "You have not completed your treatment yet" and they increase his sentence to three additional years in prison. There are many of those who spent additional years and they did not release them, but they returned to blackmail them.
This is the ruling authority in Uzbekistan. We will not bow to its oppression and will continue working in the legitimate way (sharee way) to change it, we will be patient with Allah's help and with the assistance for our Muslim brothers in this country and in other Muslim countries, we will be patient until Allah judges between us, and Allah is the wise of the wises.

Asalam-hu-aleykum I am very pleased to see that their is a hope but it is not easy we would all love to die as marytyrs but the price for it its Slavation to our Creator Allah. My Duwa is that Allah may make us all die as Shaide for the sake of Allah alone and make us win in this batlle because we know that the vicotry is to islam. |

Justin, It is for us to ask mercy for our own souls, for we do not know which of us will attain jannah. We do not know which of our deeds will open the Gates of Allah (SWT) 's Mercy, and which may cause his Wrath. As for others like all of the kuffar and mushriqueen, and the Muslims by name who act against Islam, yes, we should pity them for the end they appear to be heading to. It is a terrible place and a fearful abode. But even for these latter we may pray to Allah that He should grant them hidayah. But if He will not grant them His favour, then we know that He will disgrace, destroy and humiliate them for so he has said in the Qur'an. You may choose to look at it like this -- Brother Abu Hasib and I have simply spoken about two points on a continuous spectrum, and Allah (SWT) knows best what He has in store for us all. |

It is said that the Noble Prophet (saw) said that if he knew that it would bring salvation to the soul of Abu Jahl then he would have prayed for him seventy times. We know that when Ali (ra) was about to kill the infidel and that man spat upon our beloved fourth Khalifah, then Ali threw aside his sword. When the infidel asked him why he had done so, Ali replied that before that man had spat upon him, he, Ali had been fighting for the sake of Allah (SWT). And he will reply, "No, I have not." And a man from among them destined for jannah will be taken for a brief moment to jahannam, and he will be asked, "Did you suffer on Earth?" And he will reply, "Not at all." Therefore, let us pity the likes of Karimov, Hosni Mobarak, Zardari and all those host of others, who deluded by the glitter of power on Earth, are despoiling the haqq of their brothers in the Deen. Let us remember that Nabi (saw) cursed only a very few people who were the enemies of Islam, and then surely only with the definite knowledge given to him by Allah (SWT). If Tulaihah al Esdee (ra) could have become a leader of the Muslim armies after being a false prophet, if Abu Sufian (ra) could have become a mujahid of the field of Yarmouk after being the greatest enemy of Islam, if Ikrimah bin Abi Jahl (ra) could have become a martyr of the field of Yarmouk after being the man who led the pitiful resistance attempt by the Quraish against the Conquest of Makkah, then even these latter day pathetic beings may yet do something for the cause of Allah which may brighten their faces on the day of Qiyamah. Surely we shall pray to Allah for His help and for strengthening of our imaan for the struggle ahead. For surely it will become more intense and difficult as we get nearer the goal. But let us not learn to hate our oppressor but rather hate his sin. Let us pity him who seems to us to condemn himself to the fire whose fuel is men and jinns. |

By Allah, reading this should make us realise how serious this work is. It is time for us to work hard, sleep less, cry more and laugh less. The da'wah is not a hobby after spending a couple of hours doing it to retun home to your favourite TV shows. For the da'wah carriers who are used to luxury then know that our brothers have none. Ya Allah give us the strength and Imaan so that we can help other brothers and were seriously to re-establish your deen. O Allah release our brothers and sisters from their imprisonment and aid them with strong Imaan and patience. Ya Allah disgrace,destroy and humiliate Karimov and his like in this life and the next, grant us your victory, unify our ranks and give us the just Imaam so that we may fight with him to make your word high. Allahumma Ameen |
