Hizb ut-Tahrir strongly condemns the arrest of party's senior member Professor Dr Syed Golam Mawla; and demands his immediate and unconditional release
Hizb ut-Tahrir strongly condemns the arrest today of party's senior member, Professor Dr Syed Golam Mawla; and demands his immediate and unconditional release. This arrest clearly exposes the grave danger of the American military exercises in the country.
Hizb ut-Tahrir calls upon the Muslim Army of Bangladesh to immediately call off the joint military exercise ‘Tiger Shark-3' and cancel all forms of co-operation with the militaries of the US and the imperialists. The government of Sheikh Hasina, agents of crusader America and polytheist state India, rushed to arrest Dr Golam Mawla within two days of Hizb ut-Tahrir's protest demonstration against the US military exercise in Chittagong, ‘Tiger Shark-3'.
In April of this year the government arrested Official Spokesman of the party, Mohiuddin Ahmed and Deputy Spokesman, Kazi Murshedul Haque after the party protested against US military exercise, ‘Tiger Shark-2'. Similarly they banned the party in October 2009 after the party protested against ‘Tiger Shark-1'.
This highlights that America has evil designs behind her increasing military presence in Bangladesh and they are using their agent, Sheikh Hasina, and the ruling regime in the country to suppress any voice of protest by the people.
The resolve and determination of Hizb ut-Tahrir will not waiver as a result of the tyrannical actions of the imperialists and their agents. Unlike the intellectually backward local parties in Bangladesh, Hizb ut-Tahrir is a global ideological party; and the structure and organization of the party is not affected slightly due to these arrests. The party will continue its struggle against the imperialists and their agents; and to work for the re-establishment of the Khilafah. In this month of Rajab which marks the 89th year of the destruction of the Khilafah after which the plight and suffering of the Muslim Ummah started, Hizb ut-Tahrir calls upon the Muslims to rush towards working for the Khilafah state, the Sword and the Shield of the Ummah.

Brothers, keep the resolve and believe in the help from Allah SWT. Bangladesh's tyrannical rulers and imperialist's agents may run to the nearby anchored aircraft carrier of enemies of Islam to scoop away never to return. |
