28 Rajab- Day of the Fall of the Khilafah
O people of Power!
Pakistan is being destroyed by corrupt rulers for the sake of America. Arise with Hizb-ut-Tahrir and establish the Khilafah!
O people of power!
In the first days of July 2008, US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Richard Boucher, visited Pakistan. He met rulers and heads of political parties, all the time calling Pakistan to commit fully to America’s war upon the Muslims. He demanded Muslim soldiers do even more to fight their own Muslim brothers in the tribal areas, so as to prevent any threat to the American occupying forces in Afghanistan, who cower in fear before small groups of poorly-armed mujahideen.
We remind you that one year ago, it was Richard Boucher himself that heaped praise on Pervez Musharraf for his desecration of Lal Masjid and Jami’a Hafsa, its Huffaz and the many copies of Qur’an within it, and incineration of innocent children with white phosphorous bombs. As the Muslims collected the remains of children from sewers and buried them in mass graves, it was Richard Boucher that proudly declared on 12 July 2007, “This is the vision for Pakistan that President Musharraf has articulated and demonstrated… It is strongly in the US national interest that Pakistan succeeds in realizing this vision.”
We also remind you that one year ago, it was Musharraf that warned you that he had not yet finished spilling Muslim blood for America’s interests. On 12 July 2007, an unrepentant, emboldened, Musharraf declared, “We have yet to achieve our goals to get rid of these menaces,” whilst announcing even more operations, not only in FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas) but also in NWFP (Sarhad) itself.
And before your eyes, true to his covenant with the kuffar, Musharraf has extended their war into settled areas of Pakistan, bolstered with support from other corrupt rulers who joined him after the February 2008 elections. Up until now over nine hundred Muslim soldiers have been sacrificed for the sake of America, as well as countless mujahideen. And you must know, O People of Power, the current democratic rulers will continue to serve America, even if it means that thousands of Muslim soldiers are sacrificed and the entire country is gripped in chaos.
O people of power!
It is a matter of shame that Musharraf and his henchmen are holding you to ransom, spilling Muslim blood, destroying your country and your people before your eyes, for the sake of your enemies. Such rulers have neither respect for the sanctity of Muslim blood nor Allah سبحانه وتعالى and His Messenger سلم و عليه الله صلى. Truly, such rulers are the ones who belong to the category mentioned by Allah سبحانه وتعالى in the Quran,
أَلَمْ تَرَى إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ
جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا وَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ
“Have you not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allah into disbelief (by denying RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم and the Message of Islam), and caused their people to dwell in the house of destruction. Hell, in which they will burn, is an evil abode, indeed!” [Surah Ibraheem 14:28,29]
O people of power!
We see anger, pain and sorrow in your eyes when you witness the wastage of Muslim blood and these are signs of a Believer. But such feelings are not enough when it is time for the Believer to depend on Allah سبحانه وتعالى and step forward for His good pleasure. So, how can you remain as onlookers whilst the current rulers conspire against your country and your people? How can such rulers plunder your country for the interest of the kafir colonialists and your blood not boil over? How can these rulers destroy the economy, with agriculture and industry collapsing to the point that people are fleeing the country, and you do not mobilize to save your people from destruction? How can America be the master in your country, openly ordering and forbidding to suit its own interest and your ammunition remain unused?!
You must remember, O respected brothers, that Allah سبحانه وتعالى not only punishes every oppressor who causes agony through his oppression, He سبحانه وتعالى also punishes those onlookers who do nothing to stop the oppression and remain passive. RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم said,
إِنَّ النَّاسَ إِذَا رَأَوْا الظَّالِمَ فَلَمْ يَأْخُذُوا عَلَى يَدَيْهِ أَوْشَكَ أَنْ يَعُمَّهُمْ اللَّهُ بِعِقَابٍ مِنْهُ
“If people saw an oppressor committing oppression and yet did nothing to stop him from his act, then soon Allah سبحانه وتعالى will punish them.” (Tirmidhi)
Islam has mandated defiance before the zulm and there is no better example than RasulAllah سلم و عليه الله صلى. You see how Habib سلم و عليه الله صلى was defiant before the kuffar, even before the Muslims had any material strength before them. When his سلم و عليه الله صلى uncle, Abu Talib, asked him سلم و عليه الله صلى to compromise before the oppressors, he سلم و عليه الله صلى defiantly replied.
يَا عَمّ ، وَاَللّهِ لَوْ وَضَعُوا الشّمْسَ فِي يَمِينِي ، وَالْقَمَرَ فِي يَسَارِي عَلَى أَنْ أَتْرُكَ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ حَتّى يُظْهِرَهُ اللّهُ أَوْ أَهْلِكَ فِيهِ مَا تَرَكْتُهُ
“O, Uncle!, by Allah, even if they placed the sun on my right hand and the moon on my left, I will not abandon this work until either Allah makes this deen the dominant one or I perish on this path.”
So, what of you who have been granted power in a country that has the seventh largest army in the world, larger than that of any Western European power? So, what of you who are at the helm of the affairs of a nuclear power? So, what of you, who lead a country with the sixth largest population in the world, larger than Russia, Britain and France? So, what of you that command a state with lands approximately the size of both Britain and France combined? So, what of you who command a people who love to die for the sake of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, which none of the kuffar powers possess? And remember our present rulers occupy the position of ruling because of the strength Allah سبحانه وتعالى has granted you. If you withdraw this strength, it will shake their foundations and they will be no more. So, what is it now that prevents you from moving to end the oppression?
O people of power!
Without doubt, our weakness is not due to lack of resources, for we have been blessed by means that even some of the world’s major powers do not possess. The cause of our losses and trials is one reason and one reason alone, the absence of our shield, the Islamic Khilafah state. RasulAllah سلم و عليه الله صلى said,
إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ
“Indeed, the Imam (Khaleefah) is a shield, from behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected.” (Muslim)
So, for those of you who desire the jannah, the good pleasure of Allah سبحانه وتعالى , dignity for Islam and the victory of the believers, should rise now for Khilafah. This 28 Rajab, it will have been 87 Islamic hijri years since the Khilafah was destroyed. Since then the humiliation at the hands of the kuffar has mounted. It is high time that the Khilafah was re-established, the Muslim countries unified as the single, most powerful state in the world and it is high time that the word of Allah سبحانه وتعالى was raised as the highest.
And today, more than any other time, you have a golden opportunity to free yourself and the Ummah and raise it as the leading nation in the world. The so-called superpower is in its weakest days, politically, militarily and economically, and they can only pretend otherwise. They are waiting for the brave and the noble to deal the last blow, just as Muhammad Al-Fateh delivered to the Byzantian Empire, by Opening Constantinople to Islam. And you have the true politicians in this Ummah, the youth of Hizb-ut-Tahrir, so, replace the corrupt, incompetent ruling parties with Hizb-ut-Tahrir, the true political party that will truly rule by Islam.
Hizb-ut-Tahrir calls upon you to galvanise your resolve and urges you to rise up against these rulers who have been assigned over our necks by our own enemies, who have no value for our blood and spend it willingly to serve the kuffar. So rise with Hizb-ut-Tahrir, seize the oppressors and remove them from our necks, so that Allah سبحانه وتعالى raises you amongst the righteous. Arise with Hizb-ut-Tahrir and re-establish the Khilafah, of whose return RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلم has given glad-tidings,
ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلاَفَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّة
“… and then there will be Khilafah on the model of the Prophethood.” (Ahmad)
