Another Failed Attempt from the Afghan Intelligence Agencies to Slander Hizb ut Tahrir

The Mandegar Daily, Arman-e Mili and few other newspapers, once again attempted to vilify Hizb ut Tahrir through an article titled “Recruiting Muslim Youths by Intelligence Networks under Islamic Banner”. On January 22nd 2014, the aforementioned papers published the article on one of the Da’wah carriers named Aminullah Lashkari and accused him to be having ties with western intelligence agencies. The article from its beginning to end is full of baseless accusations.

The Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Afghanistan Media Office strongly condemns this deceitful article and considers it as a text full of plots, which is completely against Islamic rules on one hand, and far-fetched from journalistic principles on the other. We therefore, consider this article another failed attempt from the intelligence agencies who are trying to damage Hizb’s image among the Muslims of Afghanistan and we hereby draw attentions to the following points:

1. The article is written by a person, whose enmity is clear from his speech against the aforementioned Da’wah carrier. And based on a number of evidences, the writer was isolated from Muslim communities and has recently been abused by intelligence services.

2. In the article, arguing with “it is said that…” the writer has tried to make ridiculous accusations on Hizb. “It is said that once Hizb ut Tahrir’s Leader in Lebanon was seen to be walking out of the British Embassy with a bag full of money in his hand. He was asked, what is this? He replied: It is Fai (the money which is taken from Kuffar other than war)”. Now, one should ask the writer, that when even the world’s intelligence agents can’t find Hizb’s leaders, how could you even imagine such a lie? This claim is made without any evidence such as: source, date, time and other evidences, proves that he is lying and trying to vilify the Hizb. On the other hand, Hizb ut Tahrir has proven worldwide that it has never kept any relationship with any Western embassy; it has rather seen other movements’ bitter experience who have been trapped into intelligence agencies’ agenda and are conspiring against Hizb ut Tahrir. In addition, Hizb ut Tahrir believes that receiving any financial assistance from any Kaafir state be it western or else, is totally haram in Islam.

3. In the article, Aminullah Lashkari is claimed to be Hizb ut Tahrir’s founder and leader in Afghanistan. This claim is in contradiction with his age and qualifications, and Hizb’s Media Office in Afghanistan officially denies it, because Hizb’s leaders are mostly great Fiqhi, political, intellectual scholars and Mujtahideen. He is rather one of the ordinary Da’wah carriers.

4. There has been some information on his education, background and previous jobs, provided by intelligence agencies. An extensive number of Muslims study in different universities and institutions all around the world, and hold posts, not pertaining to ruling, that are Mubah (allowed in Islam) in Kufri regimes as well, whose main objective in life is to please Allah سبحانه وتعالى by working for revival of the Islamic State (Khilafah).

5. There is a possibility of more plots and accusations from intelligence services against Hizb, as the upcoming presidential elections are approaching, because all sides involved in the last presidential elections and the sympathizers of the capitalistic democracy remember their embarrassment, due to Hizb ut Tahrir’s firm position and widespread influence. They, therefore, put efforts together to destroy Hizb’s image in people’s minds, occupy Hizb’s members with useless debates and thus to deviate it from its route.

All local papers should beware that they should not fall prey to the agendas of local political parties, which only have temporary interests. You should keep your journalistic integrity and avoid cheap propaganda. This only defames your papers.
