Following the distribution of the leaflet by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan entitled: “Recurrence and Continuity of the Bread and Fuel Crises Confirm the Government’s Incompetence and its Failure in Solving Problems”, the security services arrested a group of the Hizb’s members throughout cities in Sudan:
• Omdurman:
1. Abdulwahhab Mohamad
2. Abdulqader Qasam Al-Sayyed
3. Abu Baker Mohammad Al-Sayer
4. Babaker Al-Mahdi,
who were later released.
• Qadarif:
1. Osama AbdulAziz
2. Al-Mahi Aabdin
3. Othman Suleiman,
who are still detained up to the time of writing this release.
• Khartoum Bahri: Mohammad Al-Amdah, who was later released.
• Jabal Awliya: Mohammad Abbas, who was later released.
• Wad Madani: Abdo Morra, was later released.
• Al-Ubayyid: Faysal Makki, who is still detained up to the time of writing this release.
• The security services also detained Br. Abdul-Rahman Adam Abdullah last Wednesday following a lecture he gave at Al-Shaykh Masar Mosque, Geneina City, Western Darfur, on the occasion of the Prophet’s Mawlid, entitled: “The unity of the Ummah will not be accomplished except by the return of the Khilafah on the method of Prophethood”, so they blindfolded him and took him to a remote location where they beat and abused him, asking him not to speak about politics, and accused him of seeking to undermine the system, and they did not release him until after the leader of the tribe and three mayors met with security chief in the city of Geneina.
The fault for which these members were detained is that they are taking part in the Islamic work of resuming the Islamic way of life, whether this is done through introducing Islam in lectures, or through distributing leaflets indicating the Legislative Provisions for solving the economic crisis which is plaguing the country.
Some of these members; the carriers of the Islamic Da’wah, were subjected to beating and abuse by the government’s evil-doers; whom we give the tidings of Hellfire and good riddance if they do not return to Allah سبحانه وتعالى and repent to Him سبحانه وتعالى, and work for the Haqq, not for the protection of falsehood, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says:
صِنْفَانِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ لَمْ أَرَهُمَا قَوْمٌ مَعَهُمْ سِيَاطٌ كَأَذْنَابِ الْبَقَرِ يَضْرِبُونَ بِهَا النَّاسَ… رواه مسلم.
“There are two types of people who will enter the Hell-fire, whom I have not (as yet) seen: People having whips similar to ox-tails with which they will beat people…” Reported by Muslim.
The system, which is reeling in its attempt to whiten its grim face with resonant terms, and speaking to the people about reform, while it is the furthest from reform and goodness, is afraid of audible or written words that show the people the path of truth and genuine reform, performing the acts of the tough tyrants; whose time will end despite the length of their covenant, and the wise person is the one who takes heed from others.
The system needs to be responsible, and immediately release the detained members of Hizb ut Tahrir, or bring them to trial.
We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan are fulfilling this job as a response to the command of Allah سبحانه وتعالى who said:
وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
“Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: They are the ones who are successful.”
(Aal-Imran, 3:104)
And as obedience to His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم who said:
بَلِّغُوا عَنِّي وَلَوْ آيَةً
“Convey on my behalf, even if it is one Ayah.”
Our members will not be afraid of prison cells for the sake of Allah’s pleasure, neither of detention centers nor torture, even if it results to martyrdom, but we warn the regime of Allah’s punishment and His wrath, and their consequence as long as they are following the path of repelling the way of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:
الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا أُولَئِكَ فِي ضَلالٍ بَعِيدٍ
“Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance.”
(Ibrahim, 14:3)
