If the Western World has Redlines, So Does Islam!

The members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) pointing to the recent attack on Gazargah Masjid of Herat province has stated that ‘Terrorism’ is still one of the serious threats to the international peace and prosperity, urging the need to fighting it. Such a stance is taken against the explosion that took place on Friday, September 2, 2022 in Gazargah Masjid of Herat city in which Mawlavi Mujib-ur-Rahman Ansari, the orator of Gazargah Masjid including several other people were martyred and wounded. Despite being the orator of the Masjid, Mr. Ansari was known as an influential public figure as well.

The United Nations and great powers have always interfered in the Islamic world and in the internal affairs of Afghanistan. They have always been trying to oversee the Islamic countries in order to protect their sovereignty in the world by ensuring to keep the control of the secular world order. The United States and other powers have frequently taken interfering stances to force the Islamic Emirate to dive into the Western values and secular lifestyle. As it is clear that the US has appointed Rina Amiri as US special envoy for women, girls and human rights in Afghanistan, Thomas West as the US Special Representative for Afghanistan Affairs, Richard Bennett as the UN Special Rapporteur for Afghanistan in addition to the European Union’s special representative and special envoys of other powers, all of which indicate that they [the West] won’t stop interfering to ensure their political interests and Western values in Afghanistan.

When the members of the UNSC happen to exploit the recent incident, campaigning for ‘threat of terrorism’ in Afghanistan in order to secure their interests; when the Western powers express their concerns for freedom, women rights, human rights and etc., threatening the Islamic Emirate by employing the ‘Stick and Carrot’ policy, this means that the Western world has got some Redlines for which they invest massively to be publicized and implemented them massively in their societies; but when it comes to us, they use them as mere tools and slogans to confound us of our own Redlines. Indeed, the secular values and the interests of Western powers require them to interfere in the affairs of other countries and even pointing out how the relationship and the responsibilities of the Muslim spouses should be. In contrast, they keep urging the Islamic Emirate to ensure that they are not interfering in the affairs of other nations nor are they [IEA] crossing the borders of Afghanistan.

The Islamic Emirate must realize that: 1) the idea of non-interference in others’ affairs is an unrealistic and fictional notion; 2) if the Western world has redlines and deals with us based on that, so Islam also has redlines that must be protected by the Islamic government and should be the basis when it comes to dealing with other nations – and if anyone happens to violate them, the Islamic government must give them an irrecusable answer.

When the Islamic government was established for the very first time, it declared itself as the only body that could set standards and criteria not just internally but for all humanity. So Islam itself is a standard and principle which could only be put in to effect by a united and powerful global government. Islam is the criterion for right & wrong, good & evil, lawful & unlawful, and extreme & moderate. Islam has been revealed to be the only criterion to define what the right, wrong and responsibilities of the human are. So it is time to defend our [Islamic] redlines and criteria by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) State upon the method of the Prophethood to have our principles enforced as the global criterion around the world.
