«إذَا وُسِّد الأمْرُ إلى غَيْرِ أهْلِهِ فَانْتَظِرِ السَّاعة»
“If the Matter is Made to Rest upon those Who are not Suitable for it, then Await the Hour”
The city of Halab (Aleppo) is being afflicted by the most vicious attack since the launch of the blessed revolution of Ash-Shaam. It is using all types of weapons, those which are prohibited and those which are not, carrying with them collective death to a people whose only crime is that they sought the ruling by the Shar’a of Allah. They are destroying houses on top of the heads of children, women and elderly, besieging the Muslims from every direction to the point where the situation has begun to warn of a true catastrophe and starvation that will wipe out the young before the old. The mercenaries of the tyrant of Ash-Shaam are tightening the stranglehold over the Muslim women in Halab placing their honour under the mercy of barbarians who do not know the inviolable sanctity of their honours or any dignity afforded to humanity. That is whilst the leaders of the fighting groups who have taken the responsibility of defending the people of Ash-Shaam are covered in a deep sleep awaiting the orders from those who sponsor them to awaken. In contrast, we see the aid convoys entering the areas of the tyrant of Ash-Shaam which are no further than a few kilometres from the city of Halab. It is like a calm volcano just waiting for the right time to erupt and at that time regret will be of no benefit.
O Muslims in the blessed land of Ash-Shaam: All paths have been blocked before you and there is no path open except for the path to Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’Aalaa. He Alone is who will save you from certain destruction and from an enemy laying in wait for you after having surrounding you from every side. We are very regretful that the blessed revolution of Ash-Shaam that has sacrificed everything has reached this situation. That has happened for no reason other than the connections with the sponsors and silence over the crimes that have been perpetrated against you. That is like the crimes of the truces and negotiations which gave the tyrant of Ash-Shaam time to arrange his cards and call in his assistants and where the fighting groups transformed into guards for the regime’s areas that truces had been made upon. It is what the Hizb mentioned at that time – and it is the pioneer that does not lie to its people. That is because these areas are only besieged in name alone because the aid convoys have not been cut off from them and this is a matter that the child is aware of before the adult. So is this a siege or is it guarding??
And we, in Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Syria, direct our call to everyone who can come to the support of the people of Ash-Shaam from the armies of the Muslims and the sincere fighting groups, to demolish these blockades and to cast away all the borders that stand in the way of them providing support to their brothers and sisters. That is because Allah Ta’Aalaa says:
وَإِنِ اسْتَنْصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ
“And if they seek your support in respect to the Deen then you must come to [their] support”
(Al-Anfaal: 72)
And the Noble Messenger ﷺ said:
«الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ وَلَا يَحْقِرُهُ»
“The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim, he does not oppress him, he does not betray him (or let him down) and he does not have contempt for him.”
Do not disappoint and betray your brothers. And we say to our people in Ash-Shaam, raise your voices high, say the word of Haqq (truth) and account anyone who wants to trade with your blood and your honour. That is because this is the day for action and not the day for account (i.e. Day of Judgement) whilst tomorrow will be the Day of Account and not for action. And know that your salvation and way out is to gather around a sincere political leadership possessing a clear political object and project derived from the Kitaab and the Sunnah. Allah Ta’Aalaa says:
أَفَمَنْ يَمْشِي مُكِبًّا عَلَى وَجْهِهِ أَهْدَى أَمَّنْ يَمْشِي سَوِيًّا عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
“Then is the one who walks fallen upon his face better guided or the one who walks upright upon a straight path”
(Al-Mulk: 22)
