Human Slaughterhouse

Today on Tuesday, February 7, Amnesty International released a new report about the mass hangings and extermination at Saydnaya Prison, Syria.

The report, based on 84 testimonies, states that the Syrian regime, between 2011 and 2015, has methodically organized the hanging of more than 13,000 people. The report also states that the murder, torture, enforced disappearance and extermination carried out, have been perpetrated as part of an attack against the civilian population that has been widespread, as well as systematic, and carried out in furtherance of state policy.

Amnesty International therefore conclude that the violations amount to crimes against humanity and calls for an independent and impartial investigation into crimes committed at Saydnaya.

Comment:

The atrocities committed by the Syrian regime against the population is not a matter of discussion. It is beyond a matter of witnesses, proof and investigation. The atrocities committed by the Syrian regime are clear as the sun, and so is the betrayal of the surrounding Muslim regimes.

The people of Syria have been sold by western and eastern powers and the blood of the innocent have become cheap. While the slaughter continues, the world is holding new peace talks with the butchers and planning to let Bashar Al Assad lead a new transitional government.

The critique of the atrocities from both western and eastern powers is hollow, since there is no political will from anyone to change status quo. Bashar is after all their best ally in the fight against so-called “terror” (Islam).

We as a Muslim nation will never forgive nor forget what is going on in Syria, and we hope and work for justice and relief for the Muslims in Syria, but we do not put our trust in neither traitor rulers, nor international tribunals or the like. We know… rather we are convinced that the only true justice and relief will come with a political will and power manifested in the return of Khilafah Rashida.

When everything is at its darkest, Allah سبحانه وتعالى will shed light and send victory to the believers. The help of Allah is near.
