Only the Khilafah can stop the atrocities of Israel
Barbaric! That is the correct word to describe the aerial attack of Israel on Raffah in the South of Gaza, Palestine on Saturday 27th December 2008. This land of Palestine which is under the authority of Hamas has become the continuing target of Israel.
After months of blockade by the Israeli army the Palestinians found it difficult to access fuel, electricity, water and food, and now Israel has bombarded the area with 30 missiles which doesn’t even have any defense system. More than 300 civilians died while 800 others were wounded. Tens of buildings were damaged. This is among the numerous actions which is the proof of the brutality of the Zionist State of Israel. Not only that, Israel has prepared 6500 reserve military personnel for the ground attack on Palestine.
In relation with the attacks, Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia states that:
1. The brutality of Israel is a barbaric action, which not only deserves to be blamed and cursed harshly, but also be faced and fought with a similar power. The protests which are expressed by the Muslim community in a number of Arabic countries on Sunday (28/12/2008) showed that the community want to do that, and with Allah’s will, they are able to defeat Israel, but only their rulers hampered them to do so. Not only that, the rulers also closed the borders of Palestine with their countries, so that the children, women and the elderly have become the targets of the Israeli massacres.
2. To this brutal attack, the US and the Western countries accepted the Israeli action, though this brutal attack is obvious proof of a terrorist action, which violates human rights. It proves that human rights is an empty word, which is used for the benefit of the US and her allies, but not for the Palestinians and the Muslim ummah. The vicious attack of Israel shows that the ‘Global War On Terrorism’ is simply a mask to attack Islam. If they want to make war against terrorists, why do they let this happen and the Israeli officials who are responsible for this are not called terrorists as well?
3. Calling for the rulers of Muslim countries to unite and mobilize their military power to stop the Israeli atrocities and to protect the Palestinian there. If not, then those rulers have betrayed Allah, Prophet and the Muslims, by letting the massacre happens against the Palestinians.
4. Calling for the Muslim Ummah to really work for the establishment of Khilafah, because only by Khilafah can the 1.4 billion Muslim Ummah be united all over the world with all its potentials it possess. With this power, they will have power for self protect ion, such as the power to fight back for what is done by Israel against the Palestinians at present.
