Hizb ut-Tahrir steps up its activities on the ground across Syria to combat the Riyadh Conference and its political solution.

Following America’s intensified efforts to implement a political solution in Syria that prevents a victory for the revolution over the Assad regime and keeps Syria within an American sphere of influence, Hizb ut-Tahrir in Syria in turn also intensified its activities on the ground across most Syrian cities to reflect and build strong public opinion for:

– The rejection of any political solution with the Assad regime, characterising this as a compromise that would result in preserving the regime (its army, intelligence, political institutions) but with a new agent to replace Assad;

– The rejection of the Geneva, Vienna, and Riyadh Conferences and their outcome in attempting to coerce the brigades to accept the American political solution;

– The rejection of any negotiations with the Assad regime, for it represents a compromise of the principles of the revolution and gives false legitimacy to the Assad government;

– Maintaining that the only acceptable outcome for the revolution continues to be the downfall of the Assad regime as a whole (and not mere cosmetic change) and the establishment of the Khilafah in the aftermath of the downfall of Assad.

Also some recurring points that are highlighted in the videos are:

– The noticeable level of awareness that exists in Syria, in particular in realising that America is using Russia and Iran to weaken the revolution and stop it from achieving a military victory over Assad, and at the same time how America utilises alliances with regional powers (in particular Turkey, Saudi Arabia) to push the armed brigades into accepting compromise and the American political solution;

– There is consensus by all those elements that accepting to negotiate with the Assad regime and accepting to share power with the Assad government is an act of treachery and betrayal;

– The reiteration that Allah promised his servants victory if they support his cause and do not contravene his orders. This includes cutting all ties with the Western and regional powers.

قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُلَاقُو اللَّهِ كَمْ مِنْ فِئَةٍ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةً كَثِيرَةً بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ

“But those who were sure that they were going to meet Allah said, ‘How many a small force has triumphed over a much greater one by Allah’s permission! Allah is with the steadfast.”

(Al-Baqara, 2:249)

As part of this widespread campaign, titled: “Through the rope of Allah and not the ropes of the enemies we will gain victory”, Hizb ut-Tahrir met with numerous scholars, influential figures, brigade leaders and officers, and activists, and held public demonstrations and Friday Khutbahs as well as countless talks across many Masajid.
