We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan cannot do other than to share our people this dreadful and heart-breaking tragedy in our children, our dear ones, and to extend our deepest condolences and great reward primarily to the families and relatives of the deceased. We pray to Allah to inspire them patience and consolation and ask Him (swt) to forgive the deceased and to bless them with His mercy which encompasses all things and to make their abode paradise. Also, we pray to Allah Almighty to hasten the healing of the injured and remove their hardship and bestow them the blessing of wellness and safety.
Although the tragic death of our children is from the incidents of Al-Qadaa, which we believe the good and the bad thereof are from Allah Almighty, but we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan do not deceive or dissemble; a promise we took up with Allah Almighty وَكَانَ عَهْدُ اللَّهِ مَسْئُولاً “And ever is the promise to Allah [that about which one will be] questioned.” [Al-Ahzab: 15]. Therefore, we hold the regime responsible for the blood of our children who die as a result of its poor guardianship, and that the regime’s attempt to evade responsibility and throw it at a school that violated its trip route, or to set up a commission of inquiry to look for a negligent person here or there to lay the responsibility on him, is the actual fraud and deception. And if the injured were Jews or foreigners, the state and the regime would have moved with all its civil and military devices and stood up in full swing, and we would have seen astonishments in the speed and quality of its response in terms of devices and tools.
What has happened is caused by the corruption of the whole system, its head and its sides, a system that does not take care of the affairs of its people as Allah (swt) commanded. Rather, it loots our money and spends it on its pleasures, leaving our infrastructure of streets, bridges, and the wastewater drainage like time bombs that kill us at the slightest accident. A system that does not comprehend the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said: «كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ» “Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock.”, or recognize the Seerah of the one who feared that Allah would ask him about a goat tripped he did not pave the way for her.
These disasters and events make us more certain that we must urge steps to lift this harm of this corrupt and corrupting system that abandons its responsibility and to save our country with the true Islamic state, Khilafah Rashidah State (righteous Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, which truly looks after the affairs of the people. Thus, cleansing the country of corruption and eliminating the corruptors, and takes care of people’s affairs to the satisfaction of Allah, removes all harm from them and adopts their interests, leading them to the comfort of this World and the Hereafter.
﴿الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
[Al-Baqara: 156]
