Hizb ut Tahrir Demands the Immediate Release of its Sincere Activist Abducted by the Thuggish Detectives of the Despotic Regime

Last week an active member of Hizb ut Tahrir, Habibur Rahman Dulal, was abducted from the Khilgaon area (in Dhaka) by the spineless Detective Branch (DB) of Hasina’s dictatorial government and since then he has not been presented before the court. His only crime was that he was speaking with the public in a neighborhood tea stall about the political future of the country that is clouded with imminent danger of falling into the traps of foreign powers. When a series of deadly attacks were being mysteriously carried out on foreign citizens and the Shiite community in recent times to make the country prone to fall prey to foreign colonial powers, Habibur Rahman was merely engaging in political discussions to make the public aware of such foreign conspiracies against Bangladesh. But truthful voices are what this despicable regime fears most, and thus we saw such heinous and cowardly acts by Hasina’s thuggish detectives to keep the Ummah distanced from the members and activists of Hizb ut Tahrir.

Oh beloved Muslims of Bangladesh! This bloodthirsty fascist regime of Sheikh Hasina has turned the country into a totalitarian and inhuman police state with no rule of law. The so-called law enforcing agencies have become the vilest rouges to protect the wicked schemes of this government. You should protest arresting of the sincere souls of Hizb ut Tahrir who are being true to their duties of safeguarding your interests:

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ

“Those who are faithfully true to their amaanaat (all the duties which Allah has ordained) and to their covenants.”

(Al-Mu’minoon: 8)

The only ammunitions they have are their minds, mouths and lion-like hearts with which they are continually exposing the kuffar and their lackey rulers’ ploys to harm you. Hence, we earnestly call upon you that apart from resisting government’s oppression on our activists, the least you should do right now is to advise your relatives and friends who work in the law-enforcing agencies to fear Allah and release Habibur without charging him under any draconian laws. Allah Almighty says,

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ

“Oh you who believe! Be afraid of Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deeds).”

(At-Taubah: 119)
