The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Afghanistan congratulates Eid ul-Fitr, from the bottom of its heart to all the Islamic Ummah particularly to the Muslim people of Afghanistan; we hope that all our Siyam (fasting), Qiyam and prayers and worships are accepted by Almighty Allah (swt).
The main message of the month of Ramadan is not only limited to avoiding drinking and eating, but it also encompasses the entire aspects of our everyday life. In the Muslim world, Muslims fast from dawn to the dusk; but unfortunately, they are unable to fast or abstain from the thoughts and systems that are contrary to the Sharia of Allah (swt). On the one hand, Muslims fast during the holy month of Ramadan; while on the other hand, Western thoughts, feelings and systems are being imposed or implemented over them. Even worse than that, tribal, religious, language, and region rivalries are being seriously ignited among them in the eve of the blessed Eid days – the days of joyfulness and sincerity – causing internal disputes and disintegrating their power and unity.
How good it would be if we replicate the main message of Ramadan during non-Ramadan days and abstain from racism, sectarianism, supremacy, implementation of Democracy, free-market system, and assistance of the U.S. and the West. Undeniably, the true Eid days of the believers (Muslims) will be at a time when Muslims abandon or say goodbye to these absurd notions and regulate their actions, thoughts and political system based on the true Islamic values.
